Unfortunately I tried to add a clip of that but it was blocked along with many other clips I wanted to add to these compilations. I am working on another video at the moment and I am going to look for a way to include the clips I couldn't in these two videos :)
@@gemmaaaxx I might have missed it, but was the quite funny line he said, when some interviewer asked (sorry, don't remember what it was about), where he asked what they didn't like about something and George said, "I don't like your tie". That was classic George, at his best.
@@justinoldmusician5321 George Martin told the story, if I remember correctly. He said he'd invited them into the mixing room (during one of their first studio sessions) and said, "if there's anything you don't like, we can change it." Then Harrison said, "I don't like your tie, for a start."

I've loved George and The Beatles since 1963. A big part of their appeal was their witty humour. It's great to see the lighter side of George in these two part clips. Thank you for putting this together.

I've always appreciated George Harrison's not quite successful attempt at self-deprecation. He skates along the edge of celebrity and mundanity. And then jumps off on the side of a creative interpretation of the situation. We're all living in the material world. Might as well make the best of it.
I love George Harrison since they became known as the Beatles group he's my fave ever since and i idolized him so much Rest in Peace George Harrison you're always on my heart and love all your songs.

I read a book where the other Beatles didn't really like Yoko being in the recording studio with them. She always sat right beside John and even made comments about the songs. After an accident she and John were in, John had a bed put in the studio for her to lay in. She was even given a microphone, in case she had any comments.
In the book, it was said that the Beatles were up in the control room listening to a track and Yoko got out of the bed and went over and took one of George's cakes. He got upset at seeing this, because she was stealing his cakes.
He was actually saying it in a funny way, because they all thought she was in some condition that she needed the bed, and there she was walking over to get one of his cakes. Obviously, she didn't think that they might see her, I guess.
