Her love was fake. If she loved Sahir then what was she doing with Emroz and if she loved Emroz then she did not love Sahir. Either way, her love was fake and her poetry is depressing and gloomy. Her love was carnal which can be seen very clearly by reading her stories. Basically, the reader of her work can only enter the realms of depression and gloom because that's where she stayed all her life. What about her love for her children? Why did she leave them to be with Emroz? Is only that love valid that is amorous? Is love for children and family not love?
Sahir wasn’t ready to commit and she wanted commitment and hence she was with someone who committed to her. Her love is fake and yours isn’t? Maybe her children were all grown up and they still kept in touch, how would you know?
She was close to her children. Her children became Imroze's children too. And Imroze was her complete, equal love. She wasnt compatible with her husband. I know she cheated and I dont defend her for that. But she loved Imroze. And as for Sahir, he was her first love. She couldnt forget him totally maybe, and humans often cant erase the memories of their first, innocent love from their hearts, but she loved Imroze truly and maturely. Atleast, thats what I believe.
