Here, we have many type of laksa based on some state. It have wide variety of flavour and include the way how a person cooks. Such as Laksa Kuala, Laksa Serawak, Laksa Terengganu, Laksa Penang and more. If you have a chance to come to Malaysia, hope you all can try it. 🤗😊. (Watch this video, really make me craving Laksa right now😍)
@Helen Isaac I dont have any idea what are you talking about 😅 We Malaysians love all Malay Chinese Indian restaurants/cooking/food here. Everyone respect each other. Dont have such thing like you said.. Its natural for me to see Koreans love Malaysians food as per channel Blimey had shown.. 1 of examples. Malaysia is known for food heaven. Lots Ytuber do our food review. And also before Cov19 lots of Koreans come to our country to enjoy our food. In KK I thought I was in Seoul. So many Koreans feels at home.. lazing around on the beach, eating seafood.. Shopping a full cart of Maggi Mamee to take back home. Those were the days 😊
Don't know what you're talking about. I eat Indian, Chinese, Malaysia, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Japanese, Western, etc food....nothing like that ever happened everywhere.
Some people do mix nasi lemak like mixing bibimbap. It's not weird at all. I guess some of you haven't see people mixing their nasi lemak before eating as more people like to not mix the ingredients. It's just a matter of preference😊👌🏻
Love your channel's name, Global Guy. Yeah apparently in 2020 everyone can consider themselves global cause of basically we knew more than 1 languages including lingua franca, English. That's a good thing in my thought, bringing all of us closer within the world together. Thanks for reviewing our food. Foods & languages is the easiest way to unites peoples.
Laksa penang listed as top 7 best food in the world www.cnn.com/travel/article/world-best-food-dishes/index.html here is the list of top 50 best food in the world for your reference 😉
What you ate is just a tip of the iceberg of what true Malaysian cuisine really is . First off ... love that restaurant name . Agak agak - is such a witty name . Basically agak agak is like there's no measurements .. a true chef doesn't measure their ingredients and they just agak agak it . As a lot of Malaysians will tell you .. there's different types of Laksa based on which state in Malaysia you eat in .. Not all Laksa is coconut based .. For example the Asam Laksa .. is fish based . It's like Kimchi .. different regions .. you have different types of Kimchi served to you .. The nasi lemak is our national dish . It's not supposed to be eaten like bibimbap however if you like it that way , then it's fine . This dish might look simple but it's not . The sambal takes hours to make and you need to constantly stir it to avoid burning . It could be spicy and also sweet depending on how someone makes it . I saw a clip from Food explorers about how German teens eat this dish and I was disappointed . You eat the condiments , the sambal and your meat ( rendang or fried ) with the rice not individually .. They complain that ikan bilis ( fried anchovy ) was salty .. of course it's salty if you eat it by itself.
I nearly had a heart attact when you mix the nasi lemak.🤪 You take the rice with a bit of sambal ikan bilis egg .the mixing is in the tummy not the plate . You mix rojak or pasembur . 😝
That's not laksa it's curry mee. Laksa soup Base is cook with asam and pork bone stock. Agak agak meanis used when u are guessing something. Example: the sugar agak agak put This much
When I saw the left guy lifted the laksa bowl, and then the PD said it contains coconut milk, I knew right away that is curry laksa. Laksa has 2 versions: nonya & Malay. The one that they ate is curry laksa, nonya version. Malay version are more to tangy flavour and the noodle is white - almost looks like udon. Maybe the restaurant owner is Chinese.
You eat nasi lemak like my 10yo son eat... There is no rule actually in a way of enjoying our food but normally we malaysian don't do it that way... Btw what kind of laksa is that? I love laksa penang with glass/ clear laksa noodle... And it give the best taste when you able to eat all the ingredients...
Do you guys know, in malaysia, we have variety of laksa, such as laksa penang, laksa ipoh, laksa johor and others✨different types of laksa, various taste🌼
