Exactly.. as Ritchie Blackmore himself said, "It is not the constant use of power and speed, it is the implied use of power and speed." Meaning: hint at it, build it up, but use it sparingly, it has much more effect this way.
Peter, this is a wonderful rendition of Caprice No 5. You play it with real enthusiasm and passion that is what Paganini is really all about. Speed is secondary to great articulation and most importantly playing from your heart and you do both very well. This version is an inspiration to me to keep working on my Caprice No 5!
I would have liked some distortion because it can give you more intensity for some parts, but it is true most "neoclassical" guitar players tend to play everything 100% fully distorted
this is amazing;i subscribed because of this! how did you build the speed AND clarity? How long did it take you and did you do any groundwork - i.e. prior experience with Paganini's other works?
You're very welcome. Been a while since I heard this, and now that I've heard it again, I want to amend my first comment. I said it sounds "great". I think it sounds awesome!
awesome man,u really played that song which is really fast and u did it whit ur guitar on CLEAN, that´s why i like ur perception about the Paganini´s song. Since what time u started to play guitar?
Hi, thank you! I really don't know, maybe try to listen to my album, I have there except my own songs two classical pieces, everything is with clean sound. :)
Sorry, I don't have this arrangement written in the tab, but you can find some of my compositions, lessons or arrangements here on my website: peterluha.com/product-category/sheet-pdf/
Harry Hamburger un Crossroads Steve Vai played just the beginning of the piece written by Nicolo Paganini. Here is a more complete cover of Paganini's work.

Ah finally, a guitarist with a good interpretation and a beautiful guitar tone, not just violently overdriven machine-like shredding. Much love.
Thank you Lauri, I appreciate it!

Finally somebody playing it clean! Excellent! Great technique, great tone, and one can’t hide behind distortion and delay. Thank you.
thank You! ;)
Thanks for playing clean. I am so tired of hyper-distorted metal shred.
Thanks!
Me too. This is very clean and not too fast but still fast ha ha.
Total agree

So clean and beautiful. I went through so many garbage videos of that song until I came across this one...excellent thank you!
I've listened to Paganini's 24 Caprices done on violin many times, but this is the first time I've heard this one done on guitar. Well done Peter!
Nothing short of AMAZING!!! You are a total inspiration, Peter!

This is my favorite version of this piece on guitar. Do you sell a transcription or have a lesson on line.
Thanks! 🙏 I do guitar lessons online, if you are interested: peterluha.com/index.php/online-guitar-lessons/ 😉🎸
Frighteningly disturbing and remarkably haunting. Leaving the lights all on tonight.
Sir you are awesome please give lesson I have no money for pay but I want to learn more
of course, I am listening only original /violin/ forms of Paganini's works.
Do you have a CD I can purchase? I love your playing!
+T. Rose Thank you! My CD Viaje del Alma you can purchase here: peterluha.com/index.php/product-category/albums/
The violin music is public domain if you can read it. Create your own arrangement from that.
Hi, thank you! I really don't know, maybe try to listen to my album, I have there except my own songs two classical pieces, everything is with clean sound. :)
Dammmm
Hi, thanks. Sorry, but I have no tab of it. :(

great but what guitar is this?!
Framus Tennessee
Compared to most youtubers it's good...but I suggest to anyone to listen to Anton Oparin to hear how it really should sound.
I prefer clean sound, but Oparin's distorted version is really nice. ;)
@@PeterLuha yes the clean tone is nice, but Anton's alternate picking is just out of this world. Makes even Paul Gilbert look like a beginner.
Some Parts really made me think of django reinhardt.me gusta.
thank you, I really love Django too! :)
guys, just watch Anton Oparin's version - just watch and you'll get the point :)
kindly share the tab
Tabs?
