Love your videos. I’ve been to St Martin twice, most recently in October. Love the island and the people. We had lunch at String Beach, a little restaurant right in Orient Beach. The food was so delicious. I hope to go back sometime and spend a week on the Island, eating more delicious Island food.
I highly recommend Le Bistronome SXM in Grand Case, right near Le Pressoire. You *might* find an empty table in this tiny place, but try to book a reservation.
This will be our first time in st martin visiting the French side iof the island. I just found your videos 2 weeks ago. Your channel is very detailed and informative. Love your videos and hoping that someday my husband and I will meet you in St Maartin. We own a week at the Sea Palace but this year we traded it for 2 weeks at The Saphire Beach and Resort, close to the French side. Looking forward to our vacation the last week in march.
Been there three times in the last year or so. Love it. Always stay at Orient Bay. Love the fact that there are so many good restaurants in The Village. We have been to most of those and L' Atellier and La Trattoria are our favorites. Also several of the beach restaurants are really good. One of our favorite restaurants nearby is Sol e Luna in Mont Vernon. The French side is so much more chill. Great people. Great Food.
Thanks for the food recommendations, thinking of visiting in the spring... what mini golf place did you film that segment about the hotel in Grand Case?
I can see why you would think that was in Grand Case but the segments with me talking were filmed during my vacation in Florida as mentioned in the intro. There is no mini golf course here other than a few tiny ones at one or two resorts on the island.
My husband and I ate at Cynthia's Talk of the town back in 2022. We had the $99 lobster dinner. Excellent! We will be traveling back to SXM next month and will definitely be eating there again. Hope nothing has changed since last time.
Thanks Riselle ! One question for You.. do any restaurant on the island allow you to bring your own wine ? If so, how does it work ? So they charge for a cork fee or something ? Thank you !
Right before you mentioned Yvette's I was wondering, is she going to recommend Yvette's!!! I think besides Cornie's on the Dutch side she has the best Johnny cakes!!!
St instead of Saint is perfectly fine. The correct spelling for the French side is St. Martin or Saint Martin. I never said that the St was wrong but thank you for sharing.
Great video about St. Maarten!
Another great video 👍🏽I enjoyed Lolo’s and Rainbow Cafe🎉🎉Your island is a beauty ❤
That she is. Thank you Silk
What's a trip without a good food huh? Thanks for sharing these tips!

Thank you do much 🙏🏾
Great videos. We like every one that you have made!
Looking for a great Valentine’s Day dinner restaurant
Been to several of those. Both, not Yvettes. Always wanted to go there. Hope to next visit. Thanks for all the other tips as well.
Hope you get to eat at Yvette’s next time you visit us.

So happy to read that you love it here. Everyone has their favorite side, I guess. At the end of the day we are one island, one people.

You made me miss home :) Le Maison Creole in Marigot is also great for islander food. It is right by Enochs
Gonna look it up and try it. Thanks 😊
Definitely doing date night at the Moroccan place when we’re there in a couple weeks. Thank you!
Love your videos! Can you do one on the restaurants that offer prefixe menus like astrolabe?
Not unless the restaurants cooperate 😉 Thank you for watching my videos. I’m happy they were if service.
Love your videos. Where would you recommend for fresh fried fish in the The Low or Marigot area?
I am going to be staying in the Mont Vernon area for two weeks at the beginning of February so I plan on taking your advice!
Thank you for watching.
We like Luna’De sole in the mount vernon area.
@@rcustis2645 Sol e Luna is an excellent restaurant indeed

We do not have that here, as far as I know.
@@TheTravelingIslandGirl thank you for your response !

Cornie is an absolute must for johnny cakes indeed. And Yvette’s johnny cakes are simply delicious too. Tough call.
Please advise or let us know we're coming from Canada and we're looking for fresh fried fish on the beach is there such a thing in St Martin
Yes, there are is. You’ll be fine.

Why did you spell the French side St Martin? In a previous video you made it very clear that both sides want the correct. Saint Martin and not 'St'.

Super great place
