RANKING THE TRAITORS AUSTRALIA SEASON 1 CAST
Decided to check out The Traitors US S1 and it's actually quite entertaining! Let's see whether the traitors can get rid of all the faithful!

In order to be a good traitor you have to lie, cheat, deceive and back stab. Alex started out a quiet faithful, but once given the chance to shine, she invoked these traits and ran with it. Very well played, absolute legend.
She played the game the best and she won! Can't fault it honestly!
Just rewatched the first episode of Australia with a friend and I had somehow completely forgotten that Midy figures out Angus *the moment* they take off their masks during traitor selection. They walk out of the room and he instantly states he's confident it's Angus *and* that there are four total traitors. It's kind of amazing to watch other people saying "Maybe there are only two or three" and he's like "No, it's definitely four." The man is a wizard. I want to see him play again.
He was DEFINITELY a threat to the traitors and I'm gutted cause we could have had some ICONIC moments from him piecing everything together!
Poor Paul, I saw on the wiki that he got an average of 0.182 confessionals per episode despite coming in at 6th place LOL

He kept asking others to swear on the lives of their loved ones, and he brought his own props to roundtable meetings. He talked about the production quite a lot and wouldn't stop. So production cut all of his taboo behaviours out.

I don't know if it was clips omitted in the editing, but so many details were lacked, and viewers don't know some of the things that went on. Especially with Paul as a player, and whether Olivia's claim was true about Jack.
I feel like SO MUCH was lost... And yeah, my Aussie accent is pretty decent if I do say so myself!
What was different in this season was that the traitors were told that they HAD to murder or they HAD to recruit, without a choice really made a difference in Mariell's game, cos she already took care of Angus and Claire, she only had Nigel left, so I don't think she would have chosen to recruit if it was up to the traitors. Hence, it altered the course of her plan. But she was a very good traitor

In the traidar podcast interview with Nigel he said that he and Marielle were furious about the forced recruitment of Alex.
@JamesJones-uu7ou yeah I can understand how very inconvenient to force recruit, if I was in Nigel and Marielle's position I would be peed off as well! Unless they chose a different player in the recruit, which could have a complete different outcome as well, you just never know
@@JamesJones-uu7ou Honestly, I can imagine! I understand being forced to recruit at 1 player left, but they shouldn't have been forced at 2
so many legendary players, this season just hit differnt with the game play

So glad you put Kate in Legendary, once she sussed out Marielle , the detective in her came out and that's when she became my number one player. I appreciate your views on Craig but I think I would put him in got lucky, just like Molly got lucky in UK2. ( not disagreeing with you, just my pov)😊
Yeah I can see the argument for got lucky, but I just think he was more skillful in his relationship building than Molly, which ultimately the goal is go under the radar and vote the traitors out, which he kinda did!

It's absolutely crazy but hilarious that someone can be in 11 episodes, but still be ranked as not enough time. Entirely true though 😂
It's genuinely the one recurring joke that kept me chuckling till the very end!

@myenragedrants you know what's funniest. On a podcast who interviewed all the ozzie players, everyone got just a few hundred views but Paul's interview had the most listeners view (almost 2 thousand, two months ago) goes to show how much of an enigma he was 🤣

I did disagree with 1 part I thought Alex should have been iconic personally
Iconic is usually reserved for the person I enjoyed the most, and if Teresa hadn't been in Iconic, she'd have been after Kate in legendary!
I know you're taking a "Traitors" break for a bit and honestly this version probably won't ever be legally available in English-speaking countries *but* if you get the eventual chance on your own time and want to see faithful play so legendary that it's *terrifying* watch "Hungary". The only time I've been more amazed at a faithful than I was at Mark. Probably the single most "Iconic" grade player to ever grace The Traitors in that season, imo.
I will defo check it out, and I might even make some videos on it in the future!
If you don't mind me asking, where do you watch the euro versions? I was searching on several torrent sites with no hope, someone mentioned it on Reddit about the traitors archive, but I don't know how it works. Or must I pay for it to watch somewhere else?

@@Notforyou65 good q! Traitors Archive is the standard way to go but it requires you knowing how to download media and pair it with a separate subtitle file. Which, once you know how, is pretty easy to do but you do have to learn it. I myself will be putting both Hungary and Sweden w/ burned in subtitles into a Google Drive folder that I’d be happy to share! Just not too widely lol. I doubt there are legal ramifications for sharing seasons of a foreign show that we have no way to ever actually purchase but idk.

Good rankings! In my opinion this season was ruined by the late recruitment of Kate. And also the forced recruitment of Alex. I would liked to have seen the game go to its conclusion with the OGs.
I think the forced recruitment definitely changed the game, but without it, we wouldn't have gotten the CRAZY blindside on both Marielle and Nigel, which lbh, were some of the BEST moments of the series!

American here! Just finished Aus 1 look at the timing! Matt is one of my least favorite reality contestants of ALL TIME and I’ve seen every season of survivor, big brother, and the traitors, truly insufferable. I genuinely think players like Marielle, Mark, Kate, and Nigel would do a really good job on the US series with all the gamers. Great content!

Have you seen the exit interviews on Traidar podcast? Apparently M says that Fi DID say that to her. Kind of crazy!
I feel like, if it had happened, then we'd have seen it because it was a HUGE plot point for the series... I think it's possible that Marielle was just trying to save face...

I've done it for Aus 1/2 UK 2 and US 1 - When I review other seasons, I'll definitely do them!
Good list. I'd have Nigel at the top too, as a Nigel fan. Under the radar for 75% of the game and his biggest error was a matter of honour: not voting for Marielle when he said he wouldn't. Also Teresa is a Traitors icon. Her narrating the death list in episode 10 killed me.
Some quick thoughts not on all. Jack/Olivia is an utter unexplained mystery. Midy tried to hide his game smarts but got killed as soon as they revealed themselves. Angus everyone knew was was a traitor (no poker face) but they genuinely really liked the guy. Ditto Claire. Mark a great lesson in how being the loud Traitors hunter is a dangerous spot! Fi a riot but also chaos. Felt bad for Craig and Kate, the former wasn't told of the late recruit for drama and the latters game was killed by the late recruitment/blackmail. Also Craig saw the evidence to vote for his real life best friend Traitor Nigel, he was no Quentin!
Teresa had me HOWLING everytime she opened her mouth
I suspect Jack said, “A murder will occur tonight.” No one knows what exactly was said, but I don’t think a faithful would conspire to commit murder with another random faithful. Regardless of whatever was actually said, clearly Olivia misheard. Jack, not thinking anything important was said, completely forgot about it.

Chloe is not just a poor player; Chloe is a bad human being. We learn in the very first episode that she claims to be able to magically help sick people. Giving sick people false hope is evil.

Nigel’s didn’t deserve legendary in my opinion. I love him and he played a good game but his problem was though he was a Traitor, he was a faithful traitor. Not voting Marielle when he knew they was all going to go for her at banishment. Also Alex deserves Legendary in my opinion
Alex was in legendary aha! And Nigel was up there because, aside from that one mistake, he played a really good game!
Sandra was a poor player. She demanded that everyone all vote as one. That’s crazy.
I would swap Teresa + Alex.
Alex was my favourite behind Teresa, but Teresa had me in stitches EVERY episode!
Out of curiosity, how accurate is the "production plant" theory? I've wondered if some were hired to spice things up a bit or not.
I have a feeling that IF there was one, it would've been Chloe, but obviously, they're not going to admit to trying to muck things up...
