Thanks for making this video Raima. In the last video you said that Indian history is so vast that it could alone be a subject. I just got curious where were you studying from. Because while preparing for Gate i just went through the temple architecture (types, style, material, dynasty and region). I felt that was enough. Yet if there were more to know, it would be really helpful if you could share with us.
Thank you so much for such response..! Yes.. History of Architecture have a vast syllabus and can expect upto 3-4 marks in gate exam which is quite a concern for those who don't like history. The temple architecture is just a small portion of the history part.. there are more time periods and styles like greek, roman, egyptian, islamic, buddhist etc etc which you might have studied during first few semesters of architecture. I had referred the gate architecture books set (link is mentioned in the description box) and also followed youtube lectures which were very very helpful and made my own notes.. it helps you to memorize history stuffs...
if you want I can make a separate video on that... but for now I hope it will help :)

Book for gate Ar .? Best book for detailed question and answers.
Hi.. You can always refer book by BK Das... I have mentioned about the Set of books which is released by the Gate organization itself every year.. Those are good set of books for references and also they provide 20 year solved question papers which is a beneficial thing for the preps..

Mam now I'm in 2nd year 2023 when can i start preparing for the exams. And what study material would be good for me.
HI! The time period depends upon how much time U can invest in studying because giving full time for preparations during academic years is not really possible due to the work load.. still for now u can focus on the theory lectures and notes from ur college (eventually it helps) and u can start giving good amount of time during ur internship period... also if u r droppping after college ... 6 months of preparations studying atleast 10-12 hrs a day is more than enough!!

which coaching test series for prep .?
You can go for test series by Career Avenues and Heritage.. They both are really good.. other than that try solving the previous year question papers ... hope it helps :)

Hi! The study material are helpful but its only covering few parts of the syllabus but the question banks were really good... They have detailed solutions of the previous year questions and also they are available separately on Amazon.. So you can decide accordingly.

Hi.... i would like to advice not to buy these books. Their solutions are full of mistakes. I thought those were correct until i attempted test series and so many of my answers were wrong just because i believed in the answers given in this book.
Rather i would suggest you all to go for BK Das book. Recommended by seniors who cleared Gate with good ranks.
1 year is enough?
if you're giving atleast 8-10 hours everyday then 6 months are enough for the preparations
