Another wonderful review buddy! As always, the footage and commentary is a pleasure to watch. The Titanium dial looks slick and picks up more sheen than I expected. It's reminiscent of the much sought after prior submarine dial original Hammerhead. Thank you very much for the shout-out as well! Cheers
I got the green dial version. Arrived last week. Very impressive, and it's my first Zelos. I have another titanium watch, so knew what to expect in terms of lightness etc. The build quality of the Zelos is incredible for the price, and the designs are of course 100% original. But, the thing that really took my breath away was the lume. It's like a torch and remains easily legible throughout the night. Many versions are not sold out at the introductory price on October 19th as I write this, so don't hesitate if you are interested and avoid paying $100 more than you need to.
Well said John. Welcome to the zelos family and it’s really a great watch all around showing how zelos developed the ability to refine their watches over time. Enjoy your piece my friend.
Great review! Great cinematic shots! Bravo! 👏🏼😄 Zelos should be proud to have you in their list of reviewers. Hope they see and appreciate that. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Dominatrix, lol. Great video (with excellent witty dialogue) of a cool new dial. Looks amazing under the UV light. Going to be popular! I do think many of us use the on the fly micro-adjust, though, Jayson!
I went the website for the fan favorite sailcloth band but didn’t see the deployment clasp. Where did you get that? And Thanks for your outstanding work 👌🏼
Great review! I’ve question though. Did you happen to weigh this watch at all? I’m trying to find out how much it weighs with a nato strap or just the watch head without the bracelet.
Another great review, really enlightening. You’re channel is definitely tier one. I have the SF40 teal dial previous edition and am considering getting this one. How would you rate this dial against the frost white? Also waiting for the Spearfish 40 with the ETA. Cheers mate
I was having a hard time deciding between this one and the Ti dial. After I watch them both on youtube I went for the Ti. Thanks for the video, it helps a lot.
@@DesignAtelier cool, was looking around, saw a nubuck strap in grey but the red stitching was RED, lol. Needs something more subtle, like the pip and second hand tip. Happy searching;)
Haha thanks for the update. I knew the blood red would sell out first but I’m actually surprised the forged carbon went out first before the satin. But all good since we have a larger batch this time.
Agreed. I also had the Satin in second place after the blood red. The forged went a lot faster than the Satin. Satin will sell out likely by the end of the day tomorrow. It may take a few more days for the rest. The green is the slowest. I can’t help to think that if these had the coating that they would have sold better. By the way, your reviews are most excellent. Thank you for your time and talents!
@@mrjasonrowland thanks. Maybe the cost of the coating was too much for what the SF40 would have been going for. I’m actually more on the side of actually making smaller batches but with better features like that coating. Maybe it will change in the future.
You may be on to something. Especially when a watch gets into its 3rd plus generation. Maybe the first drop is larger and then smaller as the watches progress and evolve within themselves.
Excellent review! Thank you. I have owned and sold two versions of this 40mm watch. I loved them, but the modern design never seems to stick with me. I might have to take swing #3 at that titanium dial though. As others have stated, this would be a no brainer if these had ant-scratch coating as well.
Ugh, the titanium dial's already sold out!! Didn't even last the week. Maybe I'll get the frost (full lume dial) or the slate blue one instead. I dunno.... These never come back in stock, right?
eBay not only will gauge you of their fees but it’s also notorious for having sellers that will sell zelos over list price to capitalize on the scarcity of the models. In short you’ll be paying more on eBay. The best way is be part of the Facebook group zelos timekeepers. There you’ll see reasonable fans and for sale posts.
@@DesignAtelier happened to check their website a couple days ago and they had one titanium back in stock!! Maybe someone canceled their order. Regardless, I jumped on it! Totally stoked
@@DesignAtelier just an update: A single one came back on the website shortly after this and I immediately ordered it. Just arrived yesterday! Stunning dial. Thanks for the review!
Hi, don’t mind check with you, my wrist is smaller than average, about 15cm/5.9 inch. I see your wrist is 6.25. Do you think my wrist can fit the bracelet without being too loose. Thanks
I think it would be a bit loose on your wrist. I removed almost all of the links except one. Alternatively, you can just buy a different band or strap. The watch itself should fit you well though.

Terrific review. Always a joy to watch. The Jonathan T shout out was gracious and deserved. This one is definitely first in my cart upon release.
Thank you! Yes he deserves more views!
Great review Jayson!
Thanks a bunch, bruce.
God bless you Blueshirt 👊

Thank you so much for watching. I always try to keep things as top quality as I could make them.
Great review. This creates a new benchmark for a lot of reviewers. And I love the humor too! Subscribed.
Thanks for your patronage.
Nice! Just received the notice from Zelos on the upcoming release. Thanks Jason.
Thanks and hope you get the model you want.
Your summary is spot on and fun to listen to 😁. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it.

Yes I guess I’m at the minority with the microadjust. I want one on this one though.
Outstanding review on this watch! I just ordered the green variant. It’ll be my first Zelos!
I may actually get that one too just to swap bezels. We’ll see if the budget fits.
Hmm... I really wish I could see the blood moon dial because I'm itching for either a new red or green dial but this one is killer.
I want to see that red meteo too. Hopefully Jody got one of those.
A grey suede strap would look great on it.
Excellent review. Jayson, you are definitely a "details" man!
Good idea! I’ll order some.
Grey suede with black threading!
Ordered mine, happy happy
You’ll love it.

It’s from artem straps. artemstraps.com
Great review! I’ve question though. Did you happen to weigh this watch at all? I’m trying to find out how much it weighs with a nato strap or just the watch head without the bracelet.
I couldn’t. But @jonathan t reviews did that and it’s 115g.
Well done! Subscribed.

I have never seen the frost white in person. But this one feels like a totally different level of dial.
@@DesignAtelier thanks, I’ll try it out, let’s see it doesn’t feel much like a bracelet, as you say.
Great video but major huh when you said 1/100 people would use the tool less quick adjust clasp.
You’re not the first one to say that. I have been wrong before.
I was having a hard time deciding between this one and the Ti dial. After I watch them both on youtube I went for the Ti. Thanks for the video, it helps a lot.
I’m glad that it helped!
Great review, thank you!
Thanks for watching
great review, at 300 units, I doubt they'll be any left by the time I get home from my fishing on the day of the launch...
You gotta ask one of your friends to snag one for you. It’s a keeper.
Still available as of Oct 2nd.
New subscriber here , Thanks for a superb video , by the way I'm a repeated zelos fan as well.
Keep up and looking forward to many more videos 👍
Thanks for subscribing. It means a lot to me.
What is the brand of the black strap?
Artem Sailcloth strap on an omega style clasp
@@DesignAtelier thanks!!
Any advice for a brown / grey leather strap? Bit like the travel case? Might be a good combo
I actually need to make a video about straps and where to find them. I need to do my research.

Been wanting to buy a Zelos, but not sure which one is for me. I need a diver that I can wear with a suit.
Mako or Blacktip would be great for you. Both super sleek
@@sts265 was soo close to pulling the trigger on the Mako, but the issue with the endlinks extending out stopped me. Plus the brittle bezel.
