    Here in Eastern Washington
    We have huge sand/gravel deposits from flooding over millenia ... some of them have basalt lava flows capping them ... lots of fine gold here ... it's everywhere
    Some of the deposits can be 20-30 feet thick , many very cemented , often the paystreak is in there anywhere and can be six inches or two feet thick
    Varies ... it can get pretty exciting ... but you gotta sample , sample , sample
    Good vid fella's
    Gold to Ya !

      I just found my 5th placer deposit inside the city limits of my nearby big town , a half mile and 250 feet above the existing river ... again , very fine gold ( The usual ) but running 2-4 grams per 5 gallon bucket in the heavily oxidized zone ... find the rust ( Oxidized magnetite ) find the gold ...
      The city dug a big hole expanding the capacity of the water treatment plant for another settling pond
      The plant in right next to the river
      They dug it down to a level of huge boulders that are sitting on bedrock ( 24-25 feet ) I got a coupla samples of the sediments they dug out of there from the place they piled them ... Oh man , some of the biggest flakes I have seen come out of this area
      Got busy and didn't get back there for two months , yeah , piles gone ... prolly fill under a parking lot or something now
      Progress must continue

    I would get home and aggravate the hell outta myself thinking, ..I should've went deeper for a sample to get away from the softer outer layers of the cliff. I do it every time I go out.

    It's my understanding that on the western coast of the North America's the term ancient riverbed is a reference to the ancient tertiary channels that were deposited on the seabed millions of years, before the mountains Rose and push the coastline back some remnants of these ancient channel's still remain and many of them were mined out by highland rollicking (hydrolic mining, Google) in northern California.

    I found some DG granite digging in the South Yuba of northern California it was very yellow in one layer I will crush it and see if there's any more than sulfur? Or something that made the yellow there is also some black banding possible mineralization

    Hey I'm interested in hard rock in Maine I believe I have found a massive deposit that has free mill gold plus rich sulfides??? What would you recommend, It is running 5 to 7 ounces per ton. We did find a section that was high grade 22-27 OPT. The property is for sale only have a prospecting permit for 90 days do you have any input?? The property still is hydrothermaly active there are hot springs on property and have been told that they give off poisonous gasses???

    • @911mining
      @911mining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they can. Your best bet is get a well funded company in there. You shouldn't have trouble with those grades if the deposits even moderately sized.

    • @danvigue2238
      @danvigue2238 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I want to buy this and do it so my family can live off it for years to come I have a geolagist from UMO helping me it's 1800 acres and the deposit is massive still Awsome grades at 800ft down have done about 40 drill holes all grading great???

    • @911mining
      @911mining  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could spot hand mine at those grades even and make good $

      I have a few million to invest and already have quite a bit of equipment had a large scale gravel prossesing operation.. So I have a massive crusher and plant I planned on using or at least the crusher unit it can handle 450 YPH so I might have to have a custom wash plant built on site???? It comes out of crushe right on to conveyer would be perfect to go right into hopper....

    A spec per pen. Guess the pickers rolled down the hill ;) Whats a decent pan for a pro-prospector? There is gold in those damn hills and you find it where its found, never the less a spec is a keeper and if you sun bath it a lot, it may grow into a picker?!

    • @911mining
      @911mining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Any gold is because all gold comes from somewhere. If your seeing gold in a pan it means you will have a decent deposit somewhere. We have had sediment samples done showing over 15g/ton with no visible gold in the pan.

    • @iSTAYuGO
      @iSTAYuGO 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@911mining So if not send for testing you would not know it contains gold. Guess 15g is not bad in a ton.

    Isnt "ancient " riverbed usually cemented with partly decomposed gravels and rocks? That looks more like 100 year flood deposit. Small cobbles and sands ya know?

    • @911mining
      @911mining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Combination of float built up over centuries from the steep mountains behind and ancient river bed behind this the rivers closeby and has changed course.

    • @danbosch-
      @danbosch- 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@911mining ancient riverbed implies ancestral river before uplift events. Like from a past geologic epoch. That's why they usually sit as high benches in the mountains. At least here in Oregon. If it's in the valleys it's ancient river channel. Love you guys!! Much respect.

    • @mikelouis9389
      @mikelouis9389 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's illegal to sluice there. Different country different rules.

    • @notsofresh8563
      @notsofresh8563 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mikelouis9389 Its not illegal to sluice here if you have water usage and mining permits. small scale sluicing can be done without water permit if a 1.5" or smaller pump is used. NO water from the operation can return to stream. Settling ponds must be used for sluicing of any size. These guys just find the gold and then sell/lease the rights to mining companies.
