The live action Masters of the Universe movie is a guilty pleasure of mine. How can you not love Frank Langella in this? I know lots of people hate it, and it differs from the cartoon quite a bit, but I have fun whenever I catch up with it.
Yep, you're right! Even though the movie differs from the cartoon, I at least give it props compared to that garbage GI Joe the Rise of Cobra movie. I'll watch Masters of the Universe anyday over that garbage.
It's worth watching for Langella's Skeletor alone. When it's on, I'll watch it!
Till this day, I still own a few of those Transformers Monsterbots. The sparks still work, and that's what great about 80s toys. They're built to last, and they don't make them like those anymore.

Battlebeasts were like early Pokemon. A nice idea that wasn't quite fleshed-out yet.
The S'mores Crunch I remember quite well for it was short lived and was on sale at the time towards the end of its demise. My mom bought me and siblings quite a few boxes! It pretty much was Golden Grams with a swirl of chocolate and marshmallows and a General Mills product. The marshmallows were the same texture as Lucky Charms.
SMore's 30 years later are the newest flavor of Thomas English Muffins. A cereal like that might be worth trying to sell again.
Well,here we are in 2020 and smore's cereal is back...say what you will about the 21st century being the century where we go to hell in a handbasket but at least we have the time honored tradition of random ass collaborations of cereal like chips ahoy or sour patch kid cereal(or right now eggo maple syrup waffle cereal)...might not be much for kids growing up now,but at least its better than getting kicked in the sack.
I like how the silverhawks commercial says partly metal partly real, as if metal was imaginary.
jeremy young it was the saying for the show, they were half human cyborgs, partly metal (robot) partly real (human) ... this was my time man... wish my kids got this.

I loved the S'Mores Crunch. There is a cereal out that is kind of like it. It's called Honey Maid S'Mores.
themusiclover30 Malt O Meal has a variety that is close. The chocolate pieces have been replaced with cocoa balls like Cocoa Puffs. But the marshmallows and grahams are like the original.

AroundIndiana I bought a bin full of 80's action figures. I got 4 Super Naturals and 6 ghostlings in the bunch.

man so many freaking toys that I loved... battle beasts (man I wish they would get a reboot), silverhawks, MASK, transformers (obviously) only thing missing was GI JOE!
oh and on the MOTU movie cinefix did a '7 things you didn't know about' the movie a little while back, even explained why we didn't get Orko in the movie (wasn't technically possible back in '87)
They had MOTU figures based on the movie? That's about the only cool thing about that!

God, that had to be right after Chuck E. Cheese took over Showbiz Pizza, they were still using Showbiz's jingle. T_T I loved going to Showbiz when I was a kid, it wasn't the same after CEC took over. Well, part of it was that I had grown up, but the CEC by where I live doesn't have the same magic that Showbiz did.

6:50 - Ahh, Super Naturals! I was wondering for years what these toys were called. I had the one at 6:57, which I guess is the evil/antagonistic one.
I never had one, but I remember seeing them in stores. I knew nothing about them, so I'd look at the holograms for a minute a move on. I liked other toys with holograms better, namely Visionaries and Battle Beasts.

There's something wrong about popeye shilling cocoa puffs
Popeye has been used to sell a myriad of products since his inception, and I'm not just talking about spinach. This wasn't even the first cereal he shilled for: i.imgur.com/AVQjXHH.jpg
He also had his own brand of popcorn, soda, candy cigarettes and probably countless other products. Not to mention the fast food chicken joint that still uses his name.
Smores crunch was basically golden grams with marshmallows. It wasn't that good, honestly.
