Does the pedal allow you to have midi control over parameters? Ex: reverb decay or chorus depth? As power as this pedal is, it seems like a jack of all trades but a master of none.
It's definitily an unusual device with lots of potential. The updates will probably make it better and more powerful with the time. Loki listens to his users which is amazing. It's a bit like a creative idea board for unusual experiments onboard or even using other hardware with it.
So when we say cab sim, do we just mean speakers/size/back/mic, or power amp emulation too? I see the DSM Simplifier has power tube/presence/resonance optionality - is this necessary I want to record direct while also playing live through a solid state power amp? If so, should the cab sim portion be left out of the line going to the power amp, since it will eventually hit a real cab? I have no combo amps or load boxes, just cabinets, power amps, and preamp pedals, and I'm wondering if the appropriate way to do live stereo playing while recording direct is to split my stereo signals in the Beebo after power amp emulation, sending one set out to the SS power amps on the the cabs, and the other set through cab sims before going out to stereo DI box to interface. Any direction would be greatly appreciated!! Also, great demo!!!
If I would record my signal in stereo and play live with real amps and cabs in stereo as well I would try these setups (starting from input to outputs): Recording: Mono input 1 -> amp sim -> cab sim -> stereo out 1+2 -> stereo jack cable that splits into two mono jacks -> input 1 and 2 of any audio interface Live Set Up: Mono input 1 -> goes directly to output 3+4 -> stereo jack cable that splits into two mono jacks -> one mono jack goes into the input of the first real power amp connected to any cabinet -> the other mono jack goes into the input of the second real power amp connected to any cabinet or Mono input 1 -> amp sim -> goes directly to output 3+4 -> stereo jack cable that splits into two mono jacks -> one mono jack goes into the input a cabinet -> the other mono jack goes into the input of another cabinet Is that what you mean?
This pedal looks exciting. I'm curious about the overdrive/fuzz/distortion sounds coming out of it. I think this is where all digital multi fx pedals that I've tried so far disappoint

I guess the thing with me and gain fx from multi fx pedals is that I love sounds with a strong character like the Fuzz Factory, Black Cat OD 1, Death By Audio pedals... while in multi fx pedals you only get tube screamer, big muff, metal zone type of sounds which I'm a bit bored of tbh
@@brokealien2468 yeah you do have a point indeed. Most of this gain effects are based on this and other classics. The only diferent thing in them are some crazy bit crush and octave fuzz alike effects!
@@checoman6699 For octave fuzz I'm using a Tim Escobedo Psychtar diy pedal. It's super cool as it goes from sitar like sounds to full blown octave fuzz. I haven't really tried bit crusher pedals yet but I probably shouldn't buy a multi fx pedal for this. Maybe something like a WMD Geiger Counter could be nice😊

Thaaaanks, Carlos. ;) Have you tried the Zoom MS 50G? It has all effects you need to create psychedelic sounds. If you want better quality sound in a small multi effects pedal I highly recommend the Line6 HX stomp.

I don't use it as it felt too complicated over time. Also the sound quality felt weird somehow. But maybe only my imagination.

There is this Vox stomplab line that has some very good sounding gain effects. Only downer its that doesn't has vibrato, looper or stereo outs.
