Should I learn programming first before learning to do security audits

Yes, have a prior programming knowledge .
Preferably JavaScript as it's the closest thing to solidity .
You can take Alchemy free courses

You do not need to have prior programming experience to audit. It will definitely help if you have it but there are many great auditors who don't. If you're starting now and just want to get to auditing, there is no need to learn any other language than Solidity.
