This is Outstanding! Many great points, this journey is long and lonely and we all need help! My Beautiful wife Suzy's journey came to an end on January 15th of this year after a eight years battle. Keep fighting the fight and tell people your story so the next family might have it a little easier. #ENDALZ

Mary, this is so beautiful and mirrors my husband's and my relationship. We've been married for 32 years and I, like you, have been with him almost daily since he was admitted to memory care 3 years ago. My husband had mild cognitive impairment and on 6/26/17 had an auto accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury. This injury exacerbated his cognitive impairment to moderate/severe Alzheimer’s. He was evicted from his previous facility on 7/20/20 for behavioral issues and I have not been able to be with him as I was before (I was acting as a sitter) and I feel like I've abandoned him. When people would tell me that I didn't need to visit him so often, I would tell them that I do it because one day I won't have to, or be able to, because he won't be there. Only someone who has been through this can understand. Just watched a video of you and Teepa Snow. Keep fighting the good fight Mary!
