I just quitted my job - the most toxic place and people I’ve ever worked with, without any backup plan and little money to last for 2 months and on top of it, mortgage. But I don’t regret a bit. Recalling times when I was alone being at home, while working at this job, I sobbed and I knew I needed to get out of here. Right now, I’m in early stage of a job search. I used to know how to do this thing, how to position myself in the job market, etc. But now I just don’t give a damn about these corporate jobs anymore. With the fake job posts just to keep employer branding, toxic environment, all talk with little work done, etc. I don’t feel like making values or using my specialty to creating values when I’m in a corporate position. I am deciding to quit the corporate life for good and start my pet accessories business right in the middle of the confusing, messy time now. But strangely I feel right with this decision. I’m a millennial btw, always felt out of place with corporate life since I had my first job in Marketing, then transitioned to HR and it gets uglier. 😅 When it’s enough, you know. This is the sign.

I feel so much of this. God gives us all that intuition for this reason. Our free will puts makes us question it. It puts fear in our hearts and minds. But the gift of our intuition is always leading us to the answer. That’s what faith is. Believing in that nudge even when you don’t know what you’ll do next. Thank you for sharing your story. I have a full time corporate job. One that I worked towards throughout my whole nursing career. But I’m not happy. I feel a void. It feels like I’m a robot. Not a human. Co workers act like everything is fine and never be real and mention when they actually are stressed. The fakeness kills me. I am now considering quitting and oddly I like have 2 different style jobs. One nursing and one other so 2 part times but then with part time you don’t get good benefits so I am debating

I've been trying to talk myself for ages to start a youtube channel to on make up and help women re-invent themselves in their 40s. I'm just starting out on my re-invention journey and feel like i don't have enough experience to guide anyone.
