the links on the third axis are reversed, the travel is small and they bang on the frame. the drive shaft remains too exposed to shocks. on uphill slopes, the little travel of the third axle tends to lift the central axle first, losing traction.
is this information from the traxxas 6x6? our axle can have a lot more travel by simply moving the shock position back on the tower. The links on our build don't bind on frame. We've done plenty of testing and so far haven't had any issues.
@@iercscaler4656 Moving the shock position to vary its travel is one thing, but mounting links like that is quite another, we're talking two different things. My observations are just suggestions based on what I was able to observe in the video. the first steering axle has the links in the correct direction, while in the third axle they are placed in the opposite direction, increasing the exposure of the drive shaft to impacts against protrusions. Again, these are suggestions, but we can call Mr. Traxxas for more details
