Fun fact: The italian name for Il Blud is "Galeogrugno", a portmaneu of greek word "galéos" that means "shark" and "grugno" that means "snout" So, Sharksnout! It doesn't make any sense! And no, there seems to be no reason at all for this localization choice, so dunno why we have this!

I never really found Dark Nevcrofear scary, I was interested in its design, and I kinda liked that its hand was part of Destiny Board. The child does add more to the creepiness though, and like you said, the anime showing the child burning in detail does add to that being the main point.

Almost each season of yugioh has to introduce a character with an horror themed deck or at least with a bunch of creepy cards, but DM covers a lot of this, In GX we have some of them but the one who comes to my mind is Alice and her creepy doll deck, in 5Ds we had some of the dark signers because there weren't too many scary monsters, Zexal had Quattro and his Gimmick Puppets (more scary dolls), Arc-V had Sora with his Frightfur deck (more creepy dolls, I think that I'm seeing a pattern here) and finally we got Akira Zaizen and his Tindangle (not creepy dolls but lovercraftian monsters)
I really wanted to include the Doll Chimera cards that Alice used in GX, but I chose to omit any characters that didn't exist in the TCG. That being said, I may do a video on the best (or creepiest) anime only cards/archetypes.

The woman in the TCG artwork of Tragedy looks disturbing on her own. But then there's the fact that she's just as terrified of the viewer as she is if the guy behind her, if not more, which implies that *you* are part of the danger. Coupled with the card's name, it implies you're about to help commit an assault, making it even more disturbing than the OCG art.
Because of this video, I bought a copy of that early Japanese exclusive: Ghost with an Appetite (the purple one pulling his tummy open with 1600 atk)! It looks so cool! I can't wait to put it into my OC deck!

For me it was armoured zombie. Not only was the design itself scary, but my big bro used to have it as a kid. He never really got enough cards to make a deck and later on had no interest in trading, so he never sleeved his cards. This piece of cardboard might be older than me and it looks like shit, which made the artwork only look worse and scarier
Not gonna lie, as a kid I had the Falsebound Kingdom game for GameCube, and the animation for Obelisk the Tormentor appearing, along with the sudden Hellfire backdrop, the fact he’s a giant, and that he can easily crush your monsters while soaking up thousands of points of damage actually made me turn the game off, and it took me a while before I could get through it. To this day, that’s the only video game boss that’s ever made me shut off the TV just because it scared me.
The removal of Dark Necrofear's doll wasn't the only thing that was changed: her midriff is cybernetic, but was changed to be more normal looking in the dub.
Probably Dark Necrofear and Faceless Mage since they have designs that would work well in a fighting game and Mage did some things in the anime that could translate over.

I don't know, If I had seen the 'Fiend Comedians' when I was a kid, maybe I would have find it creepy (grotesque, for sure), but I don't find any of the others creepy (I loved 'Doll of Demise', but I thought it was cool and menacing, rather than creepy). For one that always comes to mind as being creepy, I would say 'Ray and Temperature', as I really don't like both of their faces, and I usually find moons and suns with realistic faces creepy. There are cards that I find creepier, but that one always comes to mind.
Now, I just remembered one even creepier: that caterpillar card with a baby face. It is an OCG card, I think, so I saw it for the first time as an adult, but, man, is it unsettling!

I mean, tbf, the classic series is the one with the most creepy cards. The later series really lightened up on that aspect, usually going more cool or cute than creepy. There are excepttions, Gimmick Puppets come to mind, although I'd still personally say they're not really as creepy or scary as things like Ultimate Offering back in the day.
For a very old card Dark Necrofear still has a pretty darn good effect in relative to other cards and effects. Also one of the very first monsters that could actually self special summon itself. That 2800 Def also makes it harder to deal with.
Nice that they referenced Necrofear's creepiness in Duel Links. Once she's in the graveyard and you're down to 2k LP, you can start the Destiny Board countdown.
i have a big question about the ost of the OG. are there scores that you just cant find because there are two beautiful notes played constantly through the ocean that arent serenitys theme. One was right after yugi beat pegasus. the second can be heard in steppin out but it also plays the earlier as well.

When I was kid I was so scared from divine serpent geh I believe..the serpent in the artwork looked quite creepy,it was like in a crimson red portal and a very huge serpent that looked like it has no end to his size,not to mention it had infinite attack points which is already enough to scare your opponent xd

I prefer to call it by it's OCG name "Ouija Board", with the letters spelling out D-E-A-T-H, as opposed to F-I-N-A-L. OCG is so much better.

I had a Destiny board / fiend deck and honestly was a fan of Bakuras' deck over Yugi. I also prefer Kaibas' deck over Yugi.

Hello Everyone I'm Specter Prime and from looking at this Mr Top Ten List Video On Yu-Gi-Oh I would say Long time ago back in Middle era I had my fair share of playing this card game I was being a collector who kept on gathering more cards but when it got to High School I quit playing & collecting when I reach sophomore year it was hard decision to make but it had to be done when I needed to focus on m school work to get everything done before going to junior year and then last but not least senior year I may had forgotten how the game goes and works but one thing for sure it was fun while it lasted in those six years of playing & collecting and I think back on the game of not playing or collecting again but play the Yu-Gi-Oh Video Games that I see now or days and my first and my favorite card would have to be Shapesnatch it may be a odd looking Normal Machine Type Monster I ever seen but that card was the one that got me into Yu-Gi-Oh in the first place of how one little change my life back then but now I'm enjoying playing other games and also along with this Yu-Gi-Oh that is on the Nintendo Switch now or days and I have I'd say Mr Top Ten List Person has good taste in this old card game that has been around for quite a long time in the history of games and I give this Mr Top Ten List Video On Yu-Gi-Oh good thumbs up and good & points 👍👍✌✌👏👏🥊 and that is it for now and some of you Fans & Players & People would have to at least agree with me on that one on this Mr Top Ten List Video On Yu-Gi-Oh at least.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥ 🎮🕹💞👍👍✌✌👏👏🕵️♀️🕵️♂️😎🥊

When I was kid I was so scared from divine serpent geh I believe..the serpent in the artwork looked quite creepy,it was like in a crimson red portal and a very huge serpent that looked like it has no end to his size,not to mention it had infinite attack points which is already enough to scare your opponent xd
