Glad to see you enjoyed Stolen Hearts, you're 2 more quests away from accessing Menaphos. I remember when me and my brother first played we competed to see who would finish Desert Treasure first (he won, but I got 99 Magic first :D)
alot of "useless" items in rs3 are useful for invention skill which makes the items more expensive. invention is an elite skill you unlock after a certain lvl of other skills
I love the remade old quests like that Ozan one and the replacement to black knight's fortress. If you haven't yet, it's worth investigating that Abbey that in OSRS is simply an abandoned ruin...
salvages were introduced when mining/smithing rework happened, it changed all the alch prices of things, so salvages were put in place of old equipment drops, like instead of a rune scimmy from fire giants you will get a rune bladed salvage which alchs for about the same as the old price
@@TheMahano and they can be disassembled with the invention skill once you unlock it (highly recommend pushing to unlock it - 80 smith, 80craft, 80 divination), the divination makes this slow though ahaha. Lookin forward to the series! :)
@@hunterdean1562 To expand on the divination bit, its good to do Guthixian Caches as often as possible. They open up every 30 minutes and can be accessed by right clicking the energy rifts that are found in each different divination colony. These can be done twice a day and offer a good chunk of divination XP.
Salvages replaced armor and weapon drops (with the exception of black armor) with the Mining and Smithing rework years back. Their current purpose is either to be alchemized or disassembled for Invention components, when you eventually unlock that skill.
Regarding to why certain items from the clues are +1mil gp is because they give fortunate components, which are used to make alchemical onyx/hydrix in invention skill to craft things. You do need a high level invention level to do that though, so it's not exactly relevant at this point in your game. :D
For playing since 2001 and adjusting to how things changed over time it was always changes to overcome and enjoy. However watching an OSRS player switch to having a lot of changes and QOL updates immediately thrown into everything is really refreshing as to how you go from OSRS Habbits into RS3 Habbits. I am curious what your thoughts on Future quests or a lot of QOL changes are to some of the Original skills plus the RS3 new skills and Elite Skills.
Oh and fortunates make the base for the best necklace in the game which stores weapon special attacks (imagine a t60 out of date guthix staff spec but able to use it with t95 weapons!) and this necklace degrades and has to be repaired with said base made into dust. So fortunate components have settled at around 1-1.5m and come solely from the "shitty" uniques from clues by disassembling and destroying them. As such clues have a very stable income with every unique being a minimum of 1m.
Me watching this at like 11:00 thinking “lmaooo bro doesn’t know about invention.” All of those things are actually useful in some regard because they can be disassembled for rare components called “fortunate components” used in making gizmos for invention which are things that make weapons or armor have special effects. It also helps keep items relevant in game.
There is a pocket slot item that will hold all your runes and necroplasm so you never forget them. In the bank there is a preset system to load and unload your gear and inventory. Cant wait for you to see the PVM hub after killing a few bosses.
I watched all 3 of your videos great content I subbed, if you haven’t already unlock archronia it’s rs3 version of fossil island also dailies are good xp with nice rewards.
I really enjoy this kind of content. You should start organizing your bank in tabs. I think it would really help on the long term. Also, I recommend using the lamps on skills that are expensive/hard to train rather than combat skills. Tip: Save bones for Prayer training at the Zamorakian Prayer Altar in the Wilderness, it gives the same XP as a gilded altar from POH. Good luck!
@@TheMahano PVP is opt in on RS3 so going in without turning PVP on is safe. There is an NPC in Edge called Vala who can turn your PVP on(Skulls you automatically)
You should get into Slayer. I'm at 99 going for 120, and i can confirm Turael is not lying when he says Slayer brings fortune and glory (i pull in millions regularly, keeps my supply of runes high) Also definitely go for 60 strength or 60 agility, god wars dungeon is insanely good with loot
I will never forget the money I made on my 120 grind... Though, in fairness I did mine right as Menaphos and the slayer dungeon dropped there. Those keys were actually fucking LUDICROUS money back then. I was about 107-110? Somewhere in there. So I could kill most of the corrupted creatures etc off the rip and made billions. Most went right into skills or slayer stuff but aye
I'm someone trying to get back into RuneScape after my PC died with the Android app, I would love to make enough gold to get some bonds so I can be a member again. Just tried the new skill yesterday.
I have a fury T now, I didnt grab it, because in OSRS trimmed stuff is just cosmetic and hasn't got different stats, so I assumed it would be the same.
The bond is like over 100 million and used to be 4 million at one point in rs3. So yeah… osrs going to that point where bonds could just buy you most decent mid tier stuff you need. Inflated market by jagex. They knew what they were doing. Its doable with some events but it forces people to play for soo much to get to point there they could buy membership with just bonds.
This had a very long quest, I decided to keep the whole thing in, if you want me to edit this stuff out in the future, please let me know!
I think it makes sense to leave in full quests when they're not in OSRS.
once you get into smithing make sure to do family crest gl on the grind
I agree with Narrified on this one.
@@Narrimander agreed!

You can keybind anything on any of your action bars to a keyboard shortcut so you don't have to keep clicking abilities.

Invest in some vis wax to make your loadstone teleports instant. It makes them like a normal teleport instead of having that animation.
