LAST WEEK OF TEACHING 1ST GRADE: Reflection & Last days of school

I know how you feel about the dynamics of your group now think of having 4 groups like that!! I teach 6th grade, 7 periods!!! Enjoy your Summer!! My last day is tomorrow and it’s half day!!

We had lunch right after specials and it definitely had it's pros and cons. Our specials/lunch times were early so we had really long afternoons. Kinders need to learn everything...sitting at a desk/table, standing in line, lots of tying shoes until they learn, it's exhausting but rewarding. There's no such thing as a kindergarten teacher tired at the beginning of the school year. You might really love kindergarten but it's a lot more work.
