    Gotta love how Trinitarians call Jesus the second person within the Godhead, which completely ignores Colossians 2:9's statement that it was the complete other way around - the Godhead in it's entirety was in Jesus!

      If you look in the original language that colossians was written in the word used for godhead literally means divine nature. So when it says that all the fullness of the godhead was in Christ all it means is that he is fully God. It doesn't negate the doctrine of the trinity.

    Thank you Bishop Bernard,
    Here’s a fact folks,
    Baptism didn’t begin with John the Baptist. It was the Mikveh of the Priests. Jesus being the High Priest. Hebrews 2:17, 3:1, 4:14, 5:10, 6:20
    Here’s a little more info.
    Jesus said in
    Matthew 5:17
    Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
    Jesus told John the Baptist in
    Matthew 3:15
    And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
    Jesus as the High Priest Needed to go through the Mikveh to be cleansed.
    He is GOD manifest in the flesh.
    1 Timothy 3:16
    And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
    1 GOD, 3 manifestations, not 3 persons.
    There is the Humanity Of Jesus and the Deity Jesus. Fully GOD, fully man.
    Match up Isaiah 9:6 and Matthew 28:19….. Then look at Acts 2:38.

    Man this argument is something... How is it easier to believe that God decided to show himself in three modes here (at the same time) rather than to believe in a perfect example of the Triune God here... To say that the Old Testament prophets didn't understand the difference between God and God's spirit ascending on the prophets is something that's for sure....

    Comments are time-irrelevant three years after the talk, but I am a Trinitarian and will not remain silent. After the covenant with Noah about never again destroying the earth by water, each and every covenant since has been with Abraham and his descendants. That includes the New Covenant in the blood of Messiah, the fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:31-34. Jesus Himself said He came ONLY to the house of Israel. As His last act before His ascension He commissioned the disciples to go into all nations, making disciples of the nations. If one accepts your Oneness opinion, then all Jews are saved because they are the people of “the covenant,” but all gentiles who are saved are only saved by believing in the “only Name by which they can be saved, Yeshua HaMaschiah. That gives TWO ways of salvation, one for Jews and one for everyone else, which clearly contradicts scripture. That’s only one example. I have read the entire Bible many times and find many contradictions to Oneness, Unitarianism, Jehovah’s Witness and other belief systems that deny the Trinity. Oneness theology makes scripture like Isaiah 48:16 read somewhat like the Three Faces of Eve movie. The Trinity makes it read logically.

  • @nelsonstiveens5140

    God is The Omnipresent Holy Spirit, but he became man in and as the Lord Jesus Christ, as the Son of God who had a beginning and origin as a human being with a human psyche by being conceived as a man in human reality, under the limits and barriers of his human body 33 years before that event in the womb of Mary his mother.
    The difference from us is that this man was God experiencing the reality of human existence, being God made man in his spirit, deity and humanity were inextricably linked, these two dimensions were in his being. He gave his voice in his glory to those present, testifying in a supernatural and direct way that this man Jesus whom they had before their eyes was the promised messiah, he also gave a special sign for John, a symbolic vision of his Spirit in the form of a dove fulfilling the word that I had given him before. God can speak and show himself at the same time, while also being manifested and embodied as a man in the waters of the Jordan in this true human embodiment, whom Jesus said: "The Father who dwells in me, I am in The Father and The Father in me, I and the Father are One" "He who sees me, sees the Father", this could not be dissolved and disappear. But the deity is one and the same, it does not change, there are no divine and distinct persons and this does not affect the illimitability and Omnipresence of the Almighty God who is everywhere and operates in different ways at the same time.

      I always thought it interesting that at the baptism, the Spirit rested on Jesus the man. In my interactions with the Zech. 12:10 controversy, it is evident to me that God had to withdraw from the Lord Jesus just before his death. Yhe body of preparation would die, and so the Spirit merely rested on Jesus but have to come apart from the dying Jesus for a moment because Jesus was laden with the sins of the world. But right up till the end after both the Father and the son were pierced, the Father and the Spirit suffered in the man.

    The baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River, also, gives us the example to the way of salvation. Jesus needed not to repent, He had no sin, but as our Elder Brother, He gives us the example. How? To fulfill all righteousness. As in the story, Jesus is baptized, and a voice from heaven speaks, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." Then a manifestation of the Spirit alighting on Jesus. When we repent, we are to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. At this point God will say, "This is now my beloved son/daughter in whom I am well pleased." Is what I just said in scripture? No, but If God was well pleased that Jesus was baptized as our example to follow, then God, also would be well pleased when we also are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. At which time we will also receive the Holy Spirit of promise with manifestation.

      The simplest explanation is there is Spirit and there is flesh. That's two not three. The Holy Ghost isn't an Angel, so he is God and Jesus, one and the same. Jesus said the Father would send a comforter to you, and then said I will not leave you comforterless, proving again by his own words he is the Father in the flesh. Jesus said that God is a Spirit that no man has ever seen, but also said whoever has looked upon me has seen the Father. These verses alone prove the Trinity doctrine to be false.

      Yes. Acts 19:1-6. It is vital to salvation to be baptised correctly as the Apostles performed it, full immersion invoking the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for remission of sins. Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 22:16.
      Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other : for these is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.

    Like or as are similies. Run like the wind. Hot as a desert. So the Spirit descending like a dove, is not the same as the form of a dove. I think that is a bit unbiblical. However I must say, Trinitarians definitely philosophize the word of God.

    • @audricarneault2336
      @audricarneault2336 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In 1 John 5:7, it says these 3 are one. If it meant to say these 3 are one in unity, it would have followed the pattern of the next verse which says these three agree as one. Another thing to add is that if you're reading this from the KJV or NKJV, it is almost unanimously accepted by scholars that this version of the verse is not found in the original Bible at all. It was written like this because Erasmus' 1522 Greek Text included it. Erasmus was not going to write it like this because he could not find it in any of the 5000 greek manuscripts he had but was pressured by the Catholic Church to include it as it was written in the Latin Vulgate. The Catholic Church provided Erasmus with only one copy of the Greek written like this so he included it which is why it's in the KJV. Even though this particular translation of the verse is likely not in the original text, it still shows the Oneness of God and not one in unity.

    • @kobymccarty6682
      @kobymccarty6682 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Although this verse of Scripture is often used by those who believe in three persons of God, it actually refutes this view, for it says that “these three are one.” Some interpret this phrase to mean one in unity as husband and wife are one. But it should be pointed out that this view is essentially polytheistic. If the word one referred to unity instead of a numerical designation, then the Godhead could be viewed as many gods in a united council or government. If unity were meant, the verse should have read, “These three agree as one.” It is also interesting to note that this verse does not use the word Son, but Word. If Son were the special name of a distinct person in the Godhead, and if this verse were trying to teach distinct persons, why did it use Word instead of Son? Son does not refer primarily to deity, but Word does. The Word is not a distinct person from the Father any more than a man and his word are distinct persons. Rather, the Word is the thought, plan, or mind of God and also the expression of God. In a similar way, the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is not a distinct person from the Father any more than a man and his spirit are distinct persons. “Holy Spirit” just describes what God is. I John 5:7 says that three bear record in heaven; that is, God has recorded Himself in three modes of activity or has revealed Himself in three ways. He has at least three heavenly roles: Father, Word (not Son), and Holy Ghost. Furthermore, these three roles describe one God: “these three are one.”

    • @kobymccarty6682
      @kobymccarty6682 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      However, there is practically unanimous agreement among Bible scholars that this verse is really not part of the Bible at all! All major translations since the King James Version have omitted it, including the Revised Standard Version, The Amplified Bible, and the New International Version. So does the generally accepted Greek text (Nestle’s text). The NIV renders I John 5:7-8 as, “For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and these three are in agreement.” The KJV included verse 7 only because the 1522 edition of the Greek text compiled by Erasmus included it. Originally Erasmus had excluded this passage from his editions of 1516 and 1519 because it was not in any of 5,000 Greek manuscripts but only in late manuscripts of the Vulgate-the Latin version then used by the Roman Catholic Church. When the Catholic church put pressure on Erasmus to include this verse, he promised to do so if they could find even one Greek manuscript that had it. They finally produced one, so Erasmus reluctantly added the verse in, even though the manuscript so produced dated from 1520. (See Norman Geisler and William Nix, A General Introduction to the Bible, Chicago: Moody Press, 1968, 370.) From this evidence, it seems plausible that some overzealous copyist saw “there are three that testify” and decided to insert a little teaching of his own. Certainly, the passage in question is completely unrelated to the rest of John’s discussion here and interrupts the flow of his logical argument. Although all the evidence indicates this passage was not originally a part of I John, God had His hand of protection and preservation on His Word. Despite the efforts of humans, God did not.

    “He can speak from heaven, He can be incarnate in flesh as the Son of God, and He can send His Spirit as shown in bodily form of a dove, and one God can do all that”… this is literally what Trinitarians believe… there is ONE GOD who eternally exists in 3 persons. As human beings with a finite mind who do not exist as God and cannot begin to comprehend an infinite being, 3 persons seems like the most sensible explanation. No one fully understands the nature of God and it’s extremely arrogant to believe so. Let’s not be puffed up in knowledge, but instead preach the gospel with love. Let’s commune with God to know Him

    Dr. Brown would refute that this passage is the first "hint" of there being more than one LORD or Yahweh. This is just straight heresy. God is ONE BEING in three persons. The messiah is God. Your answer is insufficient. It says the spirit "Like a dove". That's three people.

    So a Christian must be baptised believing in God the Father, they must also accept and have faith in the shed blood of Christ for forgiveness of sins. And they need to recognise that they can receive God's Holy Spirit through Christ. All this I believe! But did Jesus say "In the name of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit" NO! This is a twisting or a 'perversing' of Jesus words see Greek 'diastrepho' ( Acts 20:30 W.E.Vine's greek dictionary of NT words page 180). This formula was introduced many years AFTER Jesus time! There is NOT ONE bible text that states the trinity formula! But it says 30 times GOD THE FATHER

  • @dannysantis2622

    How should we define the Trinity in the place? What is Trinity? How should you apply the principles of trinity anyway? Putting Heavenly Authorities in a certain arrangement of rankings or matrices? Who do you think has the authority and more knowledgeable how should the Heavenly Authority be arranged in a certain manner. Did God give this knowledge to any human being? I think, this is only a perception of one's idea coming from human wisdom, and surely not from God! Why should I be bothered about this anyway? What will I gain if I believed? And what will I lose if I don't?

    What IS a ‘SON’? ? WHY would God use the analogy of a ‘father’ and ‘son’ knowing exactly how ALL humans understand this if He meant something completely different, ie Is a son ever as old as his father? Is a son ever equal in authority to his father? No never.
    Also as literally every created thing has a name what is the name of the Holy Spirit?? Strange how one part of God has no name when the other 2 parts do!

    God the Father is one, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God is another.
    Matt. 3: 17 "And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
    God the Father made mention of His son Jesus Christ, not of Himself.
    John 17:3 "Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent".
    Jesus, the son of God knew who the one true God is.
    Luke 23:46 "And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.
    If Jesus was God, that Spirit that he committed to God the Father would've been God and there would be no more Jesus because if God would've just taken a body, He would've just put it away, and Jesus would've never risen form the dead.
    Joel 2:28 "“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
    The Holy Spirit is God Himself. There is no third "person" i God.
    Rev. 5:13 "And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!”
    He who sits on the throne is God the Father, who is one. Jesus the Christ who is the Lamb of God is another.

    Godhead vs. Trinity 3
    Someone asked me about the baptism of the LORD'S Christ (the Son). Claiming that this moment proves there's a Trinity. Let's examine the scriptures not my opinions.
    Matthew 3:15-17 KJV - And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
    Here is another common attack Trinitarian preachers use to mock the Biblical Godhead; some of which just don't understand the Godhead or are raised up in the Roman Bapholic (Catholic + Baptist) Churches. Many of those non-denominational denominations fall under this category. They will refer to the baptism of Jesus, when God the Father speaks from Heaven. Here they will say, "if Jesus is the same Being as God the Father, was He speaking like a Ventriloquist?" Again, this is just another absurd attack on the Lord from Trinitarians, which shows their complete ignorance of scripture. The answer to their attack is, of course, very simple: Can a soul speak, when it is apart from its body? Read Revelation 6:9-11, and you will see the answer is a definite YES.
    Revelation 6:9-11 KJV - And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
    The voice from Heaven is clearly the Soul of the Godhead, speaking about the event which is taking place on the Earth. Much the same way as the souls of the martyrs are speaking in Revelation Chapter 6:9-11, and asking God to avenge their PHYSICAL blood which was shed on the Earth. SOULS DO NOT BLEED. Your flesh bleeds your souls blood. The Fathers flesh (the Son), bled His blood (Acts 20:28). Same Being.
    Leviticus 17:11 KJV - For the life of the flesh is in the blood...
    "For the life of the flesh is in the blood", and the life our souls are in His Holy Spirit. Gods Soul (the Father) and Spirit (the Holy Ghost) are both eternal and everlasting! If you want further proof of this, then consider what Ephesians Chapter 2 teaches:
    Ephesians 2:6 KJV - And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
    Also examine the following scriptures!
    Colossians 2:11-12 KJV - In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
    Now, here is a truly amazing fact: When God saves you, He performs an operation inside your body. He "circumcises" your sinful flesh, and cuts it free from your eternal soul. So, what you do in your sinful flesh will not affect your soul. Our flesh was tied to our soul and therefore we were under the law. The "grace" is the LORD circumcising our soul from our flesh to live freely in His Spirit, where there's liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17).
    Romans 7:5 KJV - For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
    This, of course, does not give you freedom to sin, because we know that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:15-23). The Bible also says: "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." (Romans 8:13). Living after the flesh also includes the spirit of Phariseeism. That is, the mindset of "law keeping 'alone' is what saves me from hell", when scriptures are clear that the LORD is our salvation. Or even believing in the Soul (the Father) of the LORD, but not the flesh (Son) that He revealed Himself in.
    So, then the question must be asked: If our soul is not connected to our sinful body of flesh, then where is the soul? This is what Ephesians 2:6 is describing, How could Jesus be walking around physically on the earth, and yet His Soul is connected to eternity? The same way that we do today, if you are truly saved. The difference is His Soul is Eternity! The Father! The Bible teaches that we are members of Christ's body (Ephesians 5:30). How does this work, when we are clearly not connected to anything in a physical sense? Simple. It is our soul which was circumcised from our corruptible flesh, that now sits in heaven in perfect union with the Lord. Our soul is the spiritual connection, and the Spirit is the power which guides us into all truth.
    One last thing before you get to upset.
    Matthew 27:51 KJV - And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
    Hebrews 10:20 KJV - By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
    The "veil" is the Son, "that is to say, his flesh"! The "his", being the Fathers flesh. The Son veiled the Fathers Glory. He was literally (from wounds) and spiritually torn from twain to twain. Let me explain the significance of this moment. The LORD broke bread and had spiritual communion with us, through His flesh (Son).
    1 Corinthians 10:16 KJV - The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
    We are able spiritually partake in communion with the LORD, and THROGUH this fellowship and communion with the LORD we no longer have need of vein partitions and traditions. We now have direct fellowship with the LORD Jesus.
    Ephesians 2:13-16 KJV - But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
    So no. There is not a "Trinity". There is however the Godhead. One LORD. One God. Jesus alone is Yehovah God Almighty. Body (Son), Soul, (Father), Spirit (Holy Ghost). Hallelujah!
    Summary: The Father spoke, His Spirit descended "LIKE A DOVE", not "AS A DOVE" (Deuteronomy 4:17) unto His veil, "that is to say, his flesh;" (Hebrews 10:20). Body, Soul, and Spirit. Distinction? Yes. 3? Yes. 3 persons? No. 1 Person, 1 Being. The LORD Jesus Christ.

    Just tell me where do the scriptures testify about jesus not the prophecies about him , where is the testify the old testment only testify for Yahweh so Jesus here is claiming to he himself the only God yahweh

    Revelation 2:23 jesus claiming to be the same God who spoke in jeremiah 17:10
    Isiah 44:24 Yahweh saying he created all things alone no one was with him
    Acts 14:15 the apostles were preaching people to repent to the only God who created earth and heaven and they were only preaching the name of Jesus so Jesus is that God
    Deuteronomy 32:39 There is no other god with me
    Revelation 1 :8 (which is) is Yahweh but the (which to come) is Jesus so he Is the only God

    Look like this Oneness is stopping us to believe in the Father and the Holy Spirit!!! Look like there is no trinity in Jesus's name. God the Father wasn't acknowledged in such baptism!!😂. When John baptized Jesus, the three persons in Trinity were present to witness. Whdn Jesus czme out of the water, the peoole could hear the voice of God the Father shouting from thd sky proclaiming Jesus is His son. Then, the Holy Spirit came down from above as a dove and perched on the Son.
