Paul held his own against a good defensive front! Still needs to get better but both guards are back-up level on less than average teams. Hope we get becton this off season. We also need a good defensive tackle in case Cambell calls it quits.
The Texans did not even bother really testing him which would be standard practice for an opposing defense with great pass rushers. They focused their pressure on our right side where they feasted on Eich and Carman. They knew that they could physically dominate Eichenberg and take advantage of Jones lack of athleticism and the new guy at RT. Why even bother trying to attack Paul?
Can someone please explain why the pick of Chop Robinson has been criticized as much as it has? The man has insane pass rush skills and that was a position of need coming into this season and even more so as the season has progressed. Cant imagine where our defense would be without the consistent pressure he puts on the QB. Is he a perfect all around player? No, but he has all the tools to be an elite pass rusher.
Thanks for doing the Chop highlights but actually I’m as impressed when he didn’t win outright but spun and caught Stroud from behind. That’s tremendous motor and speed.
He has great awareness of when to give up an approach that isnt working and change mid-play. I think this will be particularly useful against Josh Allen down the line where he always kills us when we dont maintain our rush lanes
Ryder, man..I can't imagine what this pass rush would look like if we had Phillip and Chubb out there too. It's nearly, idk..misleading? The Fins have a lot of holes to fill on defense, or do they? They get Chop, Phillips, Chubb back next year, maybe resign Ogbah with Zieler...I'd hope they draft a NT and 3 tech DT, who could shore up that front. Just talking about the pass rush here too. It's time for this team to get young, so more UDFA as backups. Develop these guys.
Chubb won't be back. We can't depend on Phillips after 2 ACL surgeries.We have a 39 year old DT. So we do have issues on defense. Remember Holland won't be back either.
@@danielmeehan1756holland has been terrible this season tho, Chubb may or may not come back who knows. Phillips is a dawg and is one of the hardest working players I’ve ever seen he definitely will try his hardest to be back at 100%

They Wiffed so bad on Tindel & Cam Smith… these were high picks on defense . GIVEN the picks we had to trade away these picks HURT us bad
