I think Dan James has been far better than Gnonto this season. Even if we only get 20 million for Gnonto, that would be a good deal if it helps to bring in a couple of better players at 2, 3 and 10.
Lovely Hurling as always Ger!!! Bielsa reached the playoff semis in his first season and in his second season we went up as Champions. Daniel Farke did an amazing job getting us 90 points - which ordinarily would have been enough to get us automatic promotion most seasons - and got us to the playoff final. I have every confidence that we can comeback stronger in his second season as manager at the club.
Exactly! The 49ers said at the start that promotion could be a 2 year project. Farke did everything he said he would with getting to the 90 point mark. Could be have made better choices with lineups and subs? Sure, but I think he was great. I fully believe that next year we will go up. MOT.

Personally, I thought Connor Roberts was a positive loan move, noting some comments that thought otherwise. The problem was his injury playing for Wales cane at the worst time and he was brought back too early when he obxiously wasn't fit or recovered from his injury, putting him out of contention for selection for longer and when he was needed.
I think if we had a more balanced forward line we would have got it over the line this year. The low block beat us! Attacking midfielder and a key no 9 & 10?

Corberan was the man. We should have played 433. We could have used Willy or Summerville as the 9 because we didn't have one. Piroe was a waste of space. We didn't use Cresswell or Joffy even though they are more than capable at this level. We played Rutter as a 9 when his best attributes are from deep or the wing. SLOW build up play that didn't suit the players and gave the opposition time to sit deep. SO MANY MISTAKES, I called them all early. Farke is blind as a bat and cost us promotion no doubt.
Willy can leave, I like the lad, but if he's not wanting to stay one more year at his young age, then no issue to find a Ssrie A team. Just needs to be the right £m and/or players for him, otherwise, it's probably a lower Prem team like LCFC, Forest, which should get higher £m - Everton can stfu, they can't afford Jack

I agree, getting rid of those two players is essential. I think there was a bit of a click in the team last season, and they were part of that. Think Rutter will also improve if they are sold.
Just my opinion, you may disagree but I personally think Farke/Leeds were handicapped by the international break. We were top of the league going into it. Afterwards players came back tired, injured, or not in a good frame of mind as their teams hadn't done well. It seemed to interrupt the team's momentum, but not just with Leeds. Leicester & Ipswich had losses just after as well, but they recovered form and Leeds didn't.
Any player that wants to go and leeds get the money they want for the player then let them go. We don't want to see players tell the club what they are doing or what they want. Gnonto a fine example of a player that can upset our club.

Why don't Leeds try and sign Connor Roberts on a permanent deal? Burnley may not want to lose him now they're down but isn't it worth a try? He seems to get what Leeds are about, he enjoyed his short time at the club, and the fans liked him.
Been called back by Burnley, they're going to need him in the championship.

@@CB-xr1eg apparently they have said they want to keep him, that's why they have recalled him. We can make an offer but I doubt if it would be accepted.
