I was thinking about it, would you guys consider removing the mag release on the front end to simplify the design and make the rear mag catch/release more reliable? because when I had my mdr for a short time i loved the rear, never touched the front
I'm very confused as to why one would do this but I am coming from hunting maybe the lighter round helps you stay on target better? It couldn't be the weight of 308 vs 556 rounds? sick rifle though, and coming from cars, I love the idea of customizing your rifle as needed
The MDR platform is not a hunting rifle. It is a fighting rifle. For that reason, 5.56 is still plenty capable. And yes, weight is a big reason. For the same weight, you can carry more 5.56 than you can .308.
I have an MDRX in 308 and I honestly don’t ever want to hunt with another rifle. Suppressed with a sandman s, it’s still shorter than any bolt action I’ve ever hunted with
@@ChazHaze-mx2dx I also have a 308 MDRX..I actually cancelled my 308 Wlvrn conversion kit in favor of a 300blk. The Wlvrn is significantly lighter than the MDRX..Which I wanted to like in 223..But felt it was too heavy (@ 8.9 lbs).. 223 Wlvrn is nice and light (@7.43lbs in 223).
I thought barrel lock screw should only be turned ONLY WHEN others clamping screws were lose... I checked other videos... so can you explain yourself please?
Awesome Thanks now that awesome thanks for showing that. Now that is the one gun that does it all, or the do all gun. I just wish I was not a poor. i would buy that for sure conversion, especially with the conversions.
They said in the last live stream that they have the parts to support the MDrX for 10 years. Lifetime warranty is the lifetime of the product, not the buyer.
Man, I think i'm a DT guy now. Was planning on going to K&M over the MDRX but I think the WLVRN edges out the K&M now.
Thanks. Mystery solved with the mag catch! I thought I was just a woos... Well, still could be, but now I can drift that mag catch off!
The kid knows his stuff!
We need the 11.5 in 300 blk, That would be such a versatile pdw setup for home defense and a good truck gun.

Any word on the 11.5 300 blk? Thanks y'all!👍
They haven't even gotten the 16" 300blk out yet.
@@Odinforever2000I feel good mine is paid for, I feel bad that I have no idea when I'll see it.

Awesome 😎
Would a folding charging handle still be possible on the WLVRN or not?
Yes the mdr charging handles fit on the WLVRN.

Brillant
If you’re going from .308 to .223 I’m sorry…
But why? its only 2oz more in weight

It doesn’t really matter if the barrel is seated tight against the feedramp

Conversion from 308 to 556 will reduce the conflict of pressure.
Where's the small parts kit for all of us MDRX owners? Don't want my orphan rifle to go out of service!

@@Dr_K545 While that's all good I've got an FS2000 that I can't get parts for and therefore don't take out of the safe very often.
Any plans on making a bullpup chasis that would work with an AR-15 lower?
🙏
dont get rid of the forward eject !!!
Too late..
You should loosen the three bolts before unlocking the barrel.
