Thanks for sharing, does the cuttings have to go into Dano soil when roots show? I found some jade cuttings, I snipped off the stems and leaves for them sitting around, do I need to ship off the flowers?
hi guys. great vids. any tips on growing conditions...? sun, temp, humidity. british weather can be warm and sunny in summer (15-30c) and cold in winter (0-10c). i have my jades out in a small, plastic 'green house' right now. i water each fortnight with a weak baby bio solution. they're cuttings and 50 year old established plants. i've only just started in taking an interest in their well being, so any advice as to 'after potting care' would be very welcome...i will be bringing them in during winter....
What kind of rooting powder do you suggest and where do i get it? Can you use any kind of rooting powder on succulents? Thanks for the great content and helpful tips!
Where would you place the newly planted cuttings, in the shade or is it ok for indirect sunlight? Please give me some feedbacks, I'm a newbie. Thanks much.
Now I know where I made a mistake... Thank You... Please tell the time these cutting will take to grow to the height of it's mother plant... i find jade very slow growing...
I have propogated from a leaf. Mine is a small heart shaped jade. The new plant took time but its worth the wait. You have given me a better idea. 😀 Thank u 💝
Hello, I need your help with my jade, what am I doing wrong with my jade cause it keeps losing her leaves to the ground, this the 3rd one I got, please help me, thanks
I have a question, you said at the start to leave it a few days to allow it to callus before putting it in soil, but you did the exact opposite towards the mid part of the vid. Did i miss something?
What is the worst that could happen if I don't let the stem dry out? I just cut a few off of my made and put them in the same pot as the mother. Will it be okay? I did all of this prior to watching your video.
Hopefully the experts reply to your question...but until then, if you don't mind me helping...I believe since you've already put them in the soil, all that you can now do is watch and wait. The cut end is like a "wound" on the plant, so it needs calloused to "heal". Depending on your environmental conditions (the humidity in your home) and soil conditions (how wet you're keeping them in the soil), they may just root fine regardless. But if in say, a few weeks/month time...instead of staying plump and green, they seem limp, brown and mushy then rot has set in, and at least you'll know for the next round. It's just safer and more dependable when calloused or root hormone has been added beforehand. Hope I was helpful or encouraging at least. Good luck...from, another Jade lover.
What a fuss for nothing. They are practically indestructable. They will grow from any piececut off of the mother plant even if they are cut and just left lying on the soil.
amazing, I though it had to have root before you put it in soil, now I see they grow roots....I totally fell in love with Jade succulents...

I've read that jades take anywhere from 1 to 3 years to be like the parent plant. They're super slow growers.
Thanks to this video i have learned a lot
