- It is against Dharma Sastras to postpone upanayana on any silly grounds. The right age, ie., the prescribed age, 7th to 11th, is all important. Let us be very clear about it.
Every brahmin boy for whom upanayana is done at the right age will be equipped with Brahma tejas and can advance to great heights in his personal and religious life.
