I have a ssr 125 myself and was also looking into getting a lifan 140 . Was it a perfect fit or did you have to make some modifications to get it in ?

Basucally all crf 50 engines have the same mounting points, tho with really big engines like a 190 there might be some modification needed to clear the cilinder head, also i dont know for sure but i think the kawasaki style engines (with the angled cam cover) dont have exactly the same mounts but can be easily modded...

Don’t you make sure you want to put fresh oil in it and since it’s not a semi automatic clutch aka wet clutch so what oil do you use then besides regular 10w 40

This bike says it’s required an oiler cooler plate and the oiler adapter it should come with kit because this engine gets really hot

The oil cooler is a upgrade and your right it does get hot because it's air cooled but as long as you don't beat it you will be fine and I'm telling you this from my own experience

Ebay is your best bet if you want it new but if you don't care about it being used then Facebook marketplace is the way to go just be careful because there is some shady people that try to sell you junk on purpose

Didn't have problems with mine but I also don't run it at high rpm constantly and I do consistent oil changes and it ran great
