Whoever is in the wrong in this situation, a 15 year old has had to undergo a level of scrutiny by the media, criticism and in many cases condemnation, played out on a global stage the likes of which most of us will never experience in our entire lifetime. She has nerves of steel. Whatever happens I wish her a good upcoming skate and all the best.
I don't know about any points or scores, all I can say is, whenever this girl dances on ice it almost brings tears to my eyes. She's just so natural and her performances are magical. She's a rare gem. I honestly could watch her all day :)

@@mirco3014 total nonsense, Eteri as a coach would exploit every single loophole in the system, maybe, but she would never jeopardize her empire, over one medal, when her skaters already own so many Olympic and world medals, she's the most successful coach in history of figure skating, she's not stupid. There have been so many fake attacks on her in the past, I remember few years ago they released the photos of her dragging a girl by her hair and were urging to ban her for abuse, until it was revealed that it was fake, the girl she was dragging by a pony tail was laughing, it was done in training as a joke, yet the media tried to use it in a bad light to harm her reputation. That just shows you, they can't compete with her so they try to destroy her

This is called a PROFESSIONAL sports journalism! All people out there please stop having opinions on situation around doping without all the details of this case and start respecting the law! As many professional figure skaters and coaches have pointed out - you can’t dope for artistry, choreography, flexibility and quad jumps. but you can use substances to keep bodies from growing, enhance stamina help with muscle growth... All these things are helpful for figure skaters. Doping is possible anywhere. And it is dangerous. Anyhow you are absolutely right that the commentary was very respectful which I also prefer.
Of course you can dope for quads. What else is worth it? Drugs can't give you talent but surely can give you endurance while LEARNING jumps and increase your body efficiency so you can practise more. One thing horrifies me in here. If that was any skater out of ROC, the same people who are so tolerant towards Kamila would be infuriated and call it a conspiracy. Just imagine - Russia can't compete under it's own flag as a punishment for doping issues but suddenly an American/Japanese/Korean skater is allowed to compete despite failed drug test. Russians would eat them alive. How come we've fallen so low to accept such blatant double standards?
@@viviurd Similarly even outside doping why is it that a Chinese hockey team can basically start without any real Chinese players? They changed the rules especially for them. Normally these players can only play for a nation after 4 years... Why that? Either rules are for everybody or for no one. I do teach students in sports and rules are important as well as fair play. Then they see what happens in the big international events and rightfully ask me why they should stick to rules if nobody else does. So where is the role model function of the international world class? I am frustrated.

The substance in her test is not intentional long-term use but an accident.We believe her because she doesn't need any doping to win. She is simply the best. She proved it many times. Isn’t it that sometimes those athletes even don’t know they are doped? I heard about cases where their trainers moved them to do/take certain things, or secretly put substances in their meal/drink or whatever. I’m not sure how doping works, just heard about that. So if that’s the case, it’s definitely not the athlete who should be criticized.

What an amazing girl, sportiest, athlete, skater and so much more.. True artist on the ice.. She seems like she is from another world, like a little flying fairy... I feel such a deep connection with her performances. Each times she is on the ice, she is like doing the routing with a renewed energy, telling the story with so much emotions and energy. I have never experience so much emotions, goosebumps each time she skates and I have been a fan of the FigSca for decades..This girl is just a natural god given talent to this sport and she is putting the hard work! To want to diminish her, to tarnish this extraordinary child, this is in my opinion is outrageous.. The people who made her suffer during this horrible ordeal and all the people commenting bad stuff online - to go after a child for political gains, to not look at the whole picture, to judge someone without hearing their story, you better wish you never would be on that side of the story where media and the power plays can just swipe you out for a minute and you became just a bad news story without a context. Imagine the burden on the shoulders of Kamila after all that she has been enduring and continues to endure.. No medals to be given if she wins? Я из Одессы, очень болела за эту малышку, не смотря на всё политическое напряжение последних дней. Смотрела и плакала от ее выступления. Для меня этот прекрасный номер в сочетании со всей ситуацией, что с ней случилась на Олимпиаде, как отражение всего человечества. Почему мы убиваем прекрасное вокруг нас? I feel moved to tears by this performance: the courage of the Olympian and the incredible kindness compassion of the live commentators.
Whoever is in the wrong in this situation, a 15 year old has had to undergo a level of scrutiny by the media, criticism and in many cases condemnation, played out on a global stage the likes of which most of us will never experience in our entire lifetime.

I don't know about any points or scores, all I can say is, whenever this girl dances on ice it almost brings tears to my eyes. She's just so natural and her performances are magical. She's a rare gem. I honestly could watch her all day :)

There have been so many fake attacks on her in the past, I remember few years ago they released the photos of her dragging a girl by her hair and were urging to ban her for abuse, until it was revealed that it was fake, the girl she was dragging by a pony tail was laughing, it was done in training as a joke, yet the media tried to use it in a bad light to harm her reputation. That just shows you, they can't compete with her so they try to destroy her

THIS. This proves exactly why she is the absolute best ice skater in history. No one could have done such a performance after the hell she's been through; no one but her! Best? We have seen skaters actually LAND their 3A and not tack on toe on their combo that it was almost a SEQ. And without being doped up as well.

This is called a PROFESSIONAL sports journalism! All people out there please stop having opinions on situation around doping without all the details of this case and start respecting the law! As many professional figure skaters and coaches have pointed out - you can’t dope for artistry, choreography, flexibility and quad jumps. That doesn’t justify doping in FS, but let the professionals handle the case first. #ЯМыКамила
but you can use substances to keep bodies from growing, enhance stamina help with muscle growth... All these things are helpful for figure skaters. Doping is possible anywhere. And it is dangerous. Anyhow you are absolutely right that the commentary was very respectful which I also prefer.
Of course you can dope for quads. What else is worth it? Drugs can't give you talent but surely can give you endurance while LEARNING jumps and increase your body efficiency so you can practise more.
One thing horrifies me in here. If that was any skater out of ROC, the same people who are so tolerant towards Kamila would be infuriated and call it a conspiracy. Just imagine - Russia can't compete under it's own flag as a punishment for doping issues but suddenly an American/Japanese/Korean skater is allowed to compete despite failed drug test. Russians would eat them alive. How come we've fallen so low to accept such blatant double standards?
@@viviurd Similarly even outside doping why is it that a Chinese hockey team can basically start without any real Chinese players? They changed the rules especially for them. Normally these players can only play for a nation after 4 years... Why that? Either rules are for everybody or for no one. I do teach students in sports and rules are important as well as fair play. Then they see what happens in the big international events and rightfully ask me why they should stick to rules if nobody else does. So where is the role model function of the international world class? I am frustrated.

The substance in her test is not intentional long-term use but an accident.We believe her because she doesn't need any doping to win. She is simply the best. She proved it many times. By the way, a lot of american sportsmen take drugs but it's ok., because they are very "sick" and 'can't live' without them. So they are officialy allowed to use doping. Is it honesty and justice? Isn’t it that sometimes those athletes even don’t know they are doped? I heard about cases where their trainers moved them to do/take certain things, or secretly put substances in their meal/drink or whatever. I’m not sure how doping works, just heard about that.

What an amazing girl, sportiest, athlete, skater and so much more.. True artist on the ice.. She seems like she is from another world, like a little flying fairy... I feel such a deep connection with her performances. Each times she is on the ice, she is like doing the routing with a renewed energy, telling the story with so much emotions and energy. I have never experience so much emotions, goosebumps each time she skates and I have been a fan of the FigSca for decades..This girl is just a natural god given talent to this sport and she is putting the hard work! To want to diminish her, to tarnish this extraordinary child, this is in my opinion is outrageous.. The people who made her suffer during this horrible ordeal and all the people commenting bad stuff online - to go after a child for political gains, to not look at the whole picture, to judge someone without hearing their story, you better wish you never would be on that side of the story where media and the power plays can just swipe you out for a minute and you became just a bad news story without a context. Imagine the burden on the shoulders of Kamila after all that she has been enduring and continues to endure.. No medals to be given if she wins? No medals for the team event?What about a little bit more pressure like - no public for her events, no music for her events, don't allow her to interact with others at the Olympics?! How about that?? Is it Ok for MOC and the agency that needed 2 months to check a test and deliver the results in the middle of the Olympics??? This is outrageously gross mistreatment and breach of her rights to contest the opening of her B test, it is now just hearsay : The Agency vs the girl, what about the rules??If she wasn't clear to participate they needed to stop her way before the Olympics. Everything else is just plain and simple, spiteful manipulation of a situation to ruin the reputation of an incredible grace that is the future of the women figure skating.. And to do this at the Olympics?? OMG, Coubertin is turning in his grave ashamed of what have become of our human race.. Greedy for power and influence in every aspect.. I am not Russian, nor from ex-Russian republics but this is just a gross public execution of a 15 years old girls that have been manufactured In front of the whole world.. I feel for her, I wish her all the best and I hope she will be able to give her best and win the competition for her own personal satisfaction❤

Я из Одессы, очень болела за эту малышку, не смотря на всё политическое напряжение последних дней. Смотрела и плакала от ее выступления. Для меня этот прекрасный номер в сочетании со всей ситуацией, что с ней случилась на Олимпиаде, как отражение всего человечества. Почему мы убиваем прекрасное вокруг нас?
