you acquired a great stash of basic patterns!!....and no I would not Pay more than $2-3 for a pattern, .. Guilty !! yes I have .....The best advice would be to learn basic sloper and pattern making to get the basic fit, then the skys the limit....Patterns are made from the 5 basic pieces. I wish I would have taken the time when I was younger to do this to save the $$$ for fabric....I have been sewing for 50plus years, and I do have a very big stash of the basic patterns , and so many patterns you see these days are all the same...Thank you for listening to my advice!!!!
