Hi, i believe this work is a development of what sarno began but on a more in-depth neurological level and with a more rigorous approach to modern scientific research methods. I am not a doctor but have under gone prt after first reading Sarno. I think the major difference is that Sarno did not seem to understand exactly how his techniques worked even though some people report to be pain free from simply reading his book.
