    I've been bending over the wrong way for my whole life all because I didn't want to stick my butt out. My posture was always terrible too, trying to hide my belly but just looking worse all around for it. I've had a few times where my back went out, but usually I was fine in a week or two, but this last time lasted 5 months. I was able to go back to work after a week and a half, but I always felt like I was right on the edge of going back out again. In fact during it I slept on my side and had to take two days off. Before I found your channel I looked up other techniques and they all looked like they would cause more pain, so I just continued to suffer. I did figure out the golfer thing and the take a knee squat to pick stuff up. But anyway I eventually found your channel and the McGill 3 workouts I've finally started doing along with getting back in the gym, it's really helped

But now, post hip fracture 9 months later it's off the charts and if I don't take my dog out twice before noon we are fked she can't get out past midday because of cumulative back stress and she's my responsibility. The McGill method is new to me and I like also how it improves focus. Good days and bad but finally progress.

      @oasean 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      An MRI cannot determine that your "spine and back are completely healthy." Besides that your degenerating discs are part of the spine, an MRI at most reveals that some tissue is damaged or altered in some way that affects water content. An MRI cannot reveal that any tissue is flawlessly composed, maintained, and functioning.

      Despite the first comment, you do _not_ want to "lift with your legs." You want to, in effect, "lift with your butt." Mark Rippetoe teaches the difference by calling it, I think, hip drive. Instead of rising by focusing on straightening your legs, thus emphasizing the frontal thigh muscles, you focus on pushing the hips forward.

Practiced his method consistently, daily for two years. It did absolutely nothing for my pain and injury. His master clinician couldn’t even identify the cause of my pain after countless visits. Hello, i have been having knee pain for about 3 years now and i have been to at least 5 physiotherapists, but they just gave me the search it on youtube or would just insert plasma in my knee. Although what i got from all of them is that my knee cap is not stable. After that i found your videos and started doing the single leg touchdown squats. I have been doing them 20-30 pur leg from about 40-50 cm, 3-4 times a week. Sadly my knee caps are still unstable and my right knee starts inflamating. It also hurts when i run for more than 10-20mins. And sometimes when i walk i can feel the knee cap hitting the joint. The pain and the swelling is right at the tip of my knee cap.
    Hopefully this is ehough for some advice on to what should to fix the pain.

    I feel severe lower back pain when trying to stand or walk fully upright. The pain worsens the more I bend backward, improving from hunching forward. The pain is also severe when trying to stand back up after bending down to lift something. It is a very sharp pain right between my pelvic bones on my spine. I feel almost no lower back pain when sitting or laying down. I know rest is important however I also know not enough activity also weakens the supporting muscles.
    What do you think is causing my lower back pain? Does this sound more like muscle/tendon/ligament strain or disc related?
    What can I do to help it heal? What stretches or exercises help the most?

    Is it possible the lower ribs stack over hips cause low back pain? People protrude their rib from ohp press or cresent moon yoga?

    The first time I felt a bulging disc was a few years ago I was actually trying to do dancing for exercise not knowing what I was doing I was just moving my body in any direction in way that I could which is a bad idea when you're overweight lol The pain was so severe I thought I slipped a disc and felt almost paralyzed It took me about 2 weeks to recover over the course of 5 years this happened maybe four more times each time it took me about 2 weeks of barely moving at all to recover over the last 2 years I've had this happen several more times but sadly I think I got used to the pain because recovery time started taking less and less and I've probably felt this even two or three times in the last 3 weeks even though it hurts when it happens I just kind of lean back in the pain instantly goes away and I'm totally fine lol But it's ironic because I kind of already do all the things in this video without really knowing about it So either I'm getting better or my tolerance for pain has gotten higher 😅

    Extending my spine causes me low back pain after a gym injury a year ago. X-rays and MRI are clean. Both the physio and the orthopedic say it's muscular (no spine related). I have done physio, but the relief was only for some minutes or a couple of hours. Any tips?

    Well, judging from what Dr. Horschig expressed in this video, I conclude I do in fact have a herniated injury, which means I have had this ongoing for 30 years. McGill B3 as the suggestions here are now in action.
    Have a question, can a herniated disk make a faint pop in the joint when standing upright and slightly arching the lower back? Whenever my back improves, I randomly get the pop (or tick) I describe and it feels like a release of pressure, but when my back hurts it never pops.
