    Thanks for a terrific review. You made aware of these bubble teas that I guess never paid attention to before.
    Happy you enjoyed the brown sugar….they’re something different to drink.
    Enjoy a sunny n bright day.

    I make Taro shakes using taro powder, coconut milk, and ice. Tastes like a coconut cookie. Simply wonderful. I know you both would like it and it is easy to make. The lower calories are worth it... replaces any shake and better for you.

      @@TamiDunn Don't know if you saw my edit but to me, it tastes like a coconut cookie. I call it my cookie shake.

    Tami you did a little small happy dance with the first one, I’m glad you liked the experience better. Taro is my ultimate favourite flavour! Also I know you guys don’t like to drink your calories, majority of ppl understand boba milk tea is a dessert itself. You’re less likely to buy a boba milk tea & a slice of cake, where some might have a hot/iced coffee (it might be less calories than a boba) but also buy a dessert too. They’re really sweet and delicious so they’re high in calories 😅

    I always see these exact drinks every time I go to my local asian farmer's market. I would never try these or bubble tea in general because of the texture (and sugar), but the flavors always sound nice. It would be cool if you could get unsweetened powdered mixes or something so you can sweeten them the way you like... I would try it that way. (And without the boba, which is just plain milk tea if I'm correct.)

    I have just discovered bubble tea/boba in the uk. We have a peach frappe one in our local costa, and it is delicious. I ended up buying my own reusable straws though because they only give you thin cardboard straws that collapse when you try and drink through them. I use the same straws for my Macdonalds milkshakes because in the uk we only get paper/cardboard straws.

    • @TamiDunn
      @TamiDunn  ปีที่แล้ว

      I hate cardboard straws. I totally understand why they use them but they don’t make for a good drinking experience.

    I’ve never tried bubble tea, there’s not many places that do it in the UK. Reminds me of trying the American invention of peanuts in a Coke. I tried it and fell in love with it!!!

    Oh yes, sucking the boba up through the big straw is the best part. I’ve only had bubble tea a couple times for the same reason as you .. I don’t want to drink my calories. But I can see these canned versions might be fun for teens
    Loved your happy dance, Tami 😀

      If you live in a state with a Wegmans, they sell them in the Asian/ethnic aisle. My store usually has some on display near the sushi bar, too.

    Good to know there's canned bubble tea that's good. I don't go very often to bubble tea shops because it's pricey and where I live they only use syrups. If I'm going to pay that much for a drink I'd rather it have real stuff.
