I’ve been wearing KS10 RT (P90) for 3yrs and are still in excellent condition. I clean them per Phonaks cleaning instructions & video. Your video is excellent too and a good refresher! -Thank You.
Worn HA for twenty years and have always been conscientious about maintenance items such as presented in your video. However, among family/friends who wear HA, not one in ten (in my experience) pay any attention to it. On many occasions, I've listened to their complaints then cleaned their HA's myself and ... voila!...everything works like new again. Have no idea whether or not they get their ears cleaned out once in a while but suspect not. I have a good audi/vendor who explained all this at the head end. I suspect many don't. Excellent video. Thanks.
I have Oticon hearing aids. I can't agree with you more when it comes to Amazon "other" brands. I had a dome detach from my hearing aid when I removed it for the night. The next morning, I thought if fell off and couldn't find it after searching the table/floor. I placed a new one on and thought the sound in that ear was a little muffled. I ended up going not to my audiologist, but my GP. I asked the nurse to see if she could see anything in my ear cannel. Yes, and with a long-nosed tweezer, she removed the plastic dome. Enough said about aftermarket junk
I used. Origin a couple of years, and had to have dome remove from the ear canal several times. I went to another provider, and not had any more problems.
That was a great presentation -- I had no idea about the new receivers for Phonaks that can use the CeruStop sticks. Two questions: * Does it matter what size of dome you use? (Will the wrong size create whistling?) * Which is better, custom earmolds or rubber domes?
Great video, Dr. Rachael! I have Phonak Audeo P90's with custom earmold. My question is... What is the best way to keep them properly in my ears? They oftentimes work themselves out and it seems I'm almost constantly pushing them back in. Thank you in advance.
Very informative video! Question for anyone that may know. The ring that holds the wax trap secure for custom earmolds. If it is lost out of the custom mold is a new mold needed or is there a way to replace the piece so that the wax traps can be used again?
Question: what about how often to replace the retainer aka “Sport Lock”? I went 4 months with my domes, and so far 5 months with the same wax guard 😊 So far no issues. However, I do need to use the Lux dehydrator often since it has been very humid here lately
Thank you for the reminder video. I have a cleaning reminder set up on the My Phonak app so that i remember to keep up with regular maintenance. The wax guard disks can be a little tricky and difficult to feel it click on the trash can before putting in the new wax guard. Also, i do not understand why the retention tail is not better marked so the tail is going the correct direction. If i accidentally remove the tail, it takes me a couple of tries before i have the tail going in the correct direction. Thank you for a step by step reminder as i remember to do some of these steps faithfully and other steps i forget to do.

Great video. I wear the rechargeable Phonak Naida L30 with custom earmolds in each ear.
I thank you for this extremely useful video.

I am a phonic hearing aid user so this is very very very good of a video for me. Thanks. 😊3:13
Excellent information! Thank you.
Very helpful, thank you.
Very informative but wish you zoomed in on the cleaning
Very Very good idea to actually see what you are talking about.
Slow motion and enlarge the image would be a great.

I gave the same problem

Resound Nexia but, apart from the fact mine has the M&rie receiver, the principle is the same. A useful video thank you.
Please: Can the wax guard stick and wax guard be re-used if cleaned, or are they single-use only?

I 100% agree regarding to the retention tail.
Damn. I've had mine since before jan 1st and never cleaned mine.
I wear Oticon intent.
It’s not the vent hole that’s the problem. The other tube is just about impossible to open and clean.
I didn’t know there is a big difference in how HAs are cared for.
KS10 thank you
Gosh, great video, except you really need close-ups when you demo a function.
