SMP2390 They’re all on set like “Wow, Mr. Sheen, it’s amazing that you still remember all of your lines about being involved with drugs!” And he was like “What lines?”
OMG that's crazy how fast time flies by! Watching him in movies all the time over the years, I didn't realize how much older looking Charlie Sheen got until I saw that first clip of him from 1986! I know it had been almost 30 years between the two clips, but I'm still shocked. It's kind of sad actually. I'm sure his actual drug use didn't help matters though lol. I was freaking 7 years old when Ferris Bueller's Day Off came out. I'm 37 now, and it really doesn't seem like it was that long ago.
@@brettfields3681 Haha totally! It still seems like I just turned 40, but I'm turning 42 in September lol! Every year feels faster than the last, which sucks. It's part of life though. At least I'm enjoying it despite everything that's going on in the world.
It might be just me but I find The Goldbergs clip a little bit sad, even though it's a great joke. He was such a real, raw, charismatic talent early on and now it's just gone, and deep down Charlie Sheen knows it too. It's like looking at Micky Rourke in 9 1/2 Weeks and seeing him now. Something so good went so wrong and it's quite tragic
Seeing clips of him from 1986. Always feeling so much like he didn't give a rip to change his attitude but read an article that spoke volumes about how much he recalled words spoken to him at a attempt to force rehab. One quote from rob lowe stuck out to me. Charlie said that rob lowe said something like if Charlie kept putting the effort in (his quote was to this effect) that he was putting in (basically not considering rehab) that his addiction was in the corner ready to knock his lights out. Doesnt that sound like a way a modern 25 year old would describe addictions power? Go rob! Wonder if he recalls that conversation!

What did the director of this scene in the Goldberg’s previously produce, a children’s school play? The delivery and conversation is appalling compared to Ferris B
I love the original scene because it is one of the few accurate movie portrayals of how to build chemistry and seduce a woman. If you're going to stare you had better be ready to open your mouth, ask her open ended questions to get her to express herself, tease her and show genuine interest in her words instead of her appearance, and for God's sakes don't be afraid to offend her. Also, ramp up the teasing if she's being cold. Tension is your friend and the only thing you should be afraid of is showing any signs of fear. In the modern version Charlie obviously looks like shit, but even if he was still young his delivery is completely different(much faster without pauses and with unnecessary smiles that break tension) and his goal is not to seduce anyway. Mastering this subtle difference in delivery will mean all the difference between being good with girls or being like every other chump out there.
I much prefer the slower pace of the dialogue in the original movie clip. Probably tough to recreate that that feel when you are trying to meet the time restraints of a TV show.

"Feels like I've been sitting here for 30 fucking years!" that parts my favorite!!

Made me cry with laughter tbh. I love the little in-jokes. xD
You're easily amused
Is that movie really that old
@@joeymartinez9854 Dam how old are you lol
For Ferris Bueller, Charlie Sheen stayed up for 48 hours straight to prepare for the role. For The Goldbergs, he just wandered on set.
Jeremy and I bet he took drugs
@@bernierose719 He was smoking crack
What you mean? He spent years preparing for the scene by doing drugs.
Foyr
Charlie was so high he really thought it was 1986 and showed up to the set of the John Hughes movie. =p
Charlie was beautiful back in 1986.
He was so freaking attractive
He was also a better actor
That fucking Tiger Blood...
He also seemed so smooth and suave back then versus now-

In the FBDO scene, Charlie stayed up nearly 2 days to get his "spun out" look correct. I say it worked.
I miss Charlie Sheen he was the best at two and The Half-Men
We can't do anything
This idiot tried to play Charlie Harper in real life 😂💀
Happy Cubing for real, giving people HIV
He was best as Budd Fox in Wall Street and got his ass beat by Michael Douglas in Central Park for wiping Douglas out.
He is a great actor most of da actors since last 15 or 20 suck!!!
hes good today

Charlie did his role again for the Goldbergs tv show!! What a great and funny guy!! ⭐️ ❤️ ⭐️ ❤️ ⭐️
Funny how?
*He did it the same if you saw the show*
They should show this video as an anti drug PSA.
Except that he comes across so cool kids would want to do drugs to be like him.
He ends the scene making out with her so maybe not super effective.
Dread Pirate Robin I mean like compared to Charlie sheen now.
This is one of my favourite homages in television.. i had to go back and watch Ferris Bueller and everything was exactly the same.. WOW

each scene of this movie is incredible it will REMAIN FOREVER

Wow. Jennifer Grey used to be hot.
Ormi Ader Charlie sheen also looked good back then
It's a shame that the only real big movies that she did was Red Dawn, Ferris Bueller and Dirty Dancing(for the most part).
Charlie doesn't look that bad now, considering he used alot of drugs.
she really shouldn’t have gotten a nose job
Yup her and Mia Sara were gorgeous
This would be even funnier with Martin Sheen portraying Charlie Sheen's character.
I see these two as a princess and a criminal...sincerely yours The Breaksfast Club

Its amazing how great he is in the original and while the new version is funny his acting ability has really deteriorated along with his organs. lol!

Patrick Rivard that's a good point
