Everyone was in love with Holly. She was a sweetheart, and very beautiful. And what a trooper-- she'd always power through. I think the prop masters would troll Holly on purpose because the audience loved it.
Her willingness to keep going was fantastic. The appliance blooper happened to Janice back in the '70's and she, too, just put on a brave face and kept going forward. These girls were PROs!!!!

Holly was so funny. My sides hurt from laughing when the mannequin's pants dropped. She was my favorite Price is Right model and I thought the prettiest. Sadly she was let go from the show later on and she was not happy about it. She sued and after several years in the courts won a financial settlement.
To me Holly got over by being completely real. She wasn't the beauty queen type like Janice or didn't have to show her body like Dian. She was the everyday woman who was hilarious.

@@gr8daynegb Johnny used to crack up somewhat regularly when he was introducing the panelists on Match Game and they did something funny. I imagine he was looking upstage at that time. He was probably looking down at his podium while reading the information about the prizes.
@@SteveSobol760 When Samoans where called on down johnny would laugh as they always seemed to pick up Bob. Also when Yolanda's top fell Johnny was also laughing then completing the shows open.
Johnny had a great ad lib when Bob wondered what happened with Yolanda: “Bob, they have given their ALL for you!”

The fridges in those two blooper reels were probably the same prop, reused time and again.
There's another good one where a male contestant comes on down and he's wearing a shirt that says "I came to see Holly - not Bob." The entire time he was in Contestant Row, Bob Barker continued making comments about the shirt and it was hysterical.

I was so happy to find this video! I was born mid-70’s and Holly was my favorite on the show! She was at TPIR during its Golden Age and I have many fond memories watching her, as well as crushing on her, from the late 70’s to the 80’s! TPIR was a staple of my summer TV schedule, coming on at 11. Thanks for this vid!

Two things about Holly I found funny was when she wiped out on a bike that was up for bids(She was unhurt thankfully), and the time when Bob was interviewing the Beauties and asking them what was new with each of the them. When he got to Holly she said, "Well, I have a lifesaver in my mouth..."

I was a contestant on The Price Is Right back in May 1993 when Holly tripped and fell down on the stage. I was hoping that episode would be included in this TH-cam video.
Notably, I also kind of tripped (up) myself, i.e., I made it all the way to the Showcase Showdown, but somehow managed to do what I had told myself to not do: I overbid on my showcase, ugh! Notably, too, it also included that same faulty refrigerator, but in my showcase, Dian Parkinson knew not to open the refrigerator doors.
Here an interesting side note:
She apparently caught me ogling her more than the prizes in the Showcase and gave me a nice wink.
She always took every moment to be flirty. She knew what every single person watching wanted to see. So lovely.

4:42 - in the days of the classic lineup (Janice, Dian, Holly), "Bump" was never Holly's game - it was always Janice and Dian who presented it. Not sure what year this was but I think it might have been the first time Holly was ever featured on it and boy did she ever make her presence felt. That look of confident satisfaction at 5:00 is why everybody loved that amazing woman.
I was a little kid at the time and was so delighted to share a first name with her!
Carrying those old tvs up four flights of stairs was loads of fun.

I guess I am a "nostalgia geek" but while is so funny, the fact that there was an "Arkla" exercise equipment makes me laugh even more...I guess the "Arkansas/Louisiana" gas cooperative back then made exercise equipment which is crazy to me and makes it that much funnier...
