My favourite LEGO Movie 2 sets (that I own) are definitely: 1. 70830: Sweet Mayhem's Systar Starship! I love spaceship, and the shape and colourscheme are quite unique, plus it can hold more than one minifig 2.70831: Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket! I love the classic house, and to be able to rebuild it into a spaceship is so awesome 3. 70835: Rex's Rexplorer! Again, great shape, colour scheme, can hold many minifigs... as well as TWO raptors! So those are my favourite ones (in no particular order).
Story I heard was someone's mother who saved up for a while to buy a tea pot set. She never took it out of the box, because she didn't want to ruin it. She passed away and the daughter decided to take the tea pot out finally to use it, but when she went to pick it up it broke into a bunch of pieces from sitting in the box. never enjoyed it. so open that UCS Slave one hahah
“Big giant clay monster” Alright, Ross isn’t wrong. But, you should watch Batman the animated series. I want the clay face one soooo bad! I also love how they added Ace.

I'm not sure I can agree on some of those sticker prices for older sets. When you find older LEGO stuff like that, you will overpay what you might buy it for online. But I guess it still sells becuz there are ppl who are willing to overpay a good deal. I'm just one of those types that feel there is a cut off point to buying an older set for so much.

Speaking of Fabuland, an Animal Crossing set/series would be awesome! Perhaps a Diagon Alley-type modular street could includes Nook's, city hall, the museum/Brewster's Cafe, and the Dodo Airlines airport.
I own my 3 b 2b home and my collection is in three different places as well as I have 2 children who take up the other two rooms I hope to make a layout one day when my little boy learns to not destroy lego

I had that Super Star Destroyer in my collection before I was forced to give it all up in 2015 when my dad passed away. Out of all the sets I had, that was the biggest pain in the butt to assemble, and it is also the set that I miss the most. It had a commanding pressence. I still consider buying it again all the time, but can't justify it. I hope that an updated UCS version of it comes out someday.
@Emmasaurus The minecraft sets are a good choice, like treasure hunts are exciting, and if you enjoy the game soon. But, I'd go w/ something a bit rare, like a decade or 2 old Star Wars set, or a theme that's been discontinued. But, if you like the choice you've made, I won't argue there.
The Friends apartment is totally REAL. The complete exterior anyway. It's a real building in the village of Manhattan. Seinfeld exterior is actually in LA though.
Mine craft sets are probly best to get at good price an hold onto them. I my salf have never played the game .i do have one mine craft set i holdeing onto to ree sale 😊.
Admiral Piett should have been included with the new Micro scale Super Star Destroyer. Or the Admiral Vader chokes to death at the beginning of the Battle of Hoth.
