I am not a Japanese but I really love to learn and write katakana and hiragana. I only tried to read and recognize 1st grader kanji but no attempt on writing it... thanks to this channel now I will able to learn different strokes of hiragana.

Very late to the game but basically he says the right half of the け should be written at a ratio of 9 to 1. The third stroke should be written off to one side of the second stroke. Hope that helps.
