Steve Perry has a great voice that made people feel. Try Open Arms, Loving/Touching/Squeezing and of course Faithfully which will make you weep if you listen to the lyrics.

Journey is the name of the band, and the singer’s name is Steve Perry. He’s no longer with the band, he left in 1998. Journey is still touring with a new singer that sounds remarkably like Steve, but he truly is not Steve Perry.

"This song sounds so familiar..." LOL. What I would give to hear "Don't Stop Believin'" for the first time again. I was a Top 40 DJ in the 80s, and every one of those songs puts me right back in the city and studio I was working in when I first played them. Ironically, I was working at a Country station when this one came out, so that's a strange memory, but still!

No doubt, but if there are any karaoke singers that can come anywhere close to Steve Perry, they are wasting their time singing karaoke. They need to be recording music professionally.

Karaoke IS for amateurs and drunk people who think of themselves as talented.

White music vs black music, real music vs machine music. I've helped black guys set up their computers for making music, and it's always been cut and paste.

What a horrible generalization. In the 80s cutting and pasting wasn’t an option. Today, many artists use technological tools to paste songs together, including Steve Perry (seen singing in this video), See his behind the scenes videos for his Traces album.
