Fab tips! I like the idea of doing 10mins on an older wip before picking up the exciting new one. Definitely making an effort to sort screen time out too 🙈
I ❤️ all of your tips and appreciate your promotion of our craft! The older I get, the more I feel the need/desire to make the most of every minute and IDGAF what other people think of me. Thankfully my teenage daughter isn’t too embarrassed of me crocheting on airplanes, in queue at amusement parks, at parties, and pretty much everywhere I feel like it. The past year has reinforced my desire to make the most of each day and USE UP MY STASH! 😁
Loving all these tips.. my habit stacking is crocheting/knitting while catching up on podcasts! Time blocking is such a great one and I’m going to try and crochet in public! I’m always early for school pick ups so that would be a great time to get some rows in rather than scrolling in my phone!
Just watched your video while adding a few rows to my hat! It was really helpful! I must say I’ve never crocheted in public but thinking of all the time I’ve spent just sat on the bench at the playground while the little ones played, I could have put so much work into a project!
I absolutely loved this!! So many great ideas, although I do already like to listen to crochet podcasts on TH-cam while I crochet (as I am now lol), the audio books are a great tip! I love the habit stacking ideas too, thanks for the podcast its really helpful xx.
Loved that reaction to time blocking 😂 great tips! 👍🏻 one thing that annoys me about my mum is she is very keen to learn but she always says she never has time (she only works 3 days a week and me and my brother have moved out) but crochet is so important to me that I make the time. I have 3 children and a baby but not a day goes by when I am not hooking something. I just think if you want to do something you have to find the time and make it a priority x
Hi:) just discovered you today on IG and TH-cam...thanks for the very thoughtful tips. I learned to crochet as a kid and then didn’t pick it up again for many years...now I can’t go a day without crochet🧶🙂! I find it meditative and calming. You have a very lovely way of communicating your ideas☺️
Great episode, I knit more than crochet and always have a project with me, my kids even ask now if I have my knitting with me. I always have it to when waiting at school pick up, waiting at karate, etc.
Omg! Thank you. I feel so guilty when I crochet and I can't explain it and it annoys me because I love to crochet. Definitely going to start making time each day, and when I do I am not going to feel guilty anymore (might take me a while to get my head around it) but I will. Thank you for this blog I needed it!!!! 🤗
Hello! I've been watching your channel almost since the first episodes and your work inspire me a lot, even more when you annouced your book! I have a podcast recomendation, you can find it on spotify as Creative Pep Talk, it is pretty good!
Great podcast as usual, Lindsey. Some fab nuggets of advice to try. I’m dreadful at losing time scrolling.... I’d love to know your creative podcast recommendations!
Well I finished a few grannies in this video, so that's great 😄 it's been so long since I enjoyed a few minutes of crocheting, and when you mentioned, little bit of crocheting and time, this was the time to quickly get out my basket that's been staring at me like an orphan for so long.. I definitely want to get the book recommended, as a mom of 2 boys, it's school on a weird schedule, my hubby, busy household, full time working, busy studying and writing exams, in the middle of selling and buying a new house.. Eeeek it is CRAY-CRAY over here 😬 My anxiety levels are through the roof.. So maybe if I can time block things, it will probably be better already. Thank you for the lovely video!
I'm getting all my Christmas knitting/crochet done while I travel from cleaning job to cleaning job. Socks get done in about a week ?!?!?! Love your podcasts!!! Xxx
There's something super annoying with youtube these days, the ads IN the video. I don't mind an ad in the beginning and an advertisement at the end, but as soon as I start concentrating on what you say there's a super annoying advertisement that comes on. So if counted from the beginning of your video till the end, it's 8 advertisements in just under 26 minutes. I know So sweet violet said that we should tell her if this happens, she turned it off, just thought I'd let you know as well. I don't mind the ad in the beginning and the ad at the end, but my word, it's really irritating.
Love the tip about the 10 mins WIP before getting on with a new project. I am extremely guilty of abandoning projects for new shiny ones
So helpful!!!! Thank you ❤

Enjoyed the video! My crochet comes with me everywhere, I even crochet while I'm standing at the bus stop! Thanks for the tips 😁

Yes! Audible is so entertaining.
I also crochet while walking on my treadmill and using my LegPet foot slider.

I crochet in the pickup line at school.
I tidy during commercials while watching TV. 😆
