Aw thank you Amy!! That’s so kind of you 💕💕 I was looking back on some old Instagram posts from around 4 years ago and we were following each other since back then! 💕🙌🏻
i love your take on tilly and the buttons. 'modern patterns' you said. hehehehehehe! I'm old enough to know these are basic old designs and all that's different is the fabric choice.
Congratulations on your new adventure! Looking forward to more podcasts/ vlogcasts! Love the Tilly and the Buttons pattern and fabric - got a midi version of that dress on my to-make list too.
I'm excited right along with you! That's what I love about your podcast, you keep it real! I love a gallery wall and think your weaving and clock would go really well! My gallery wall is horror related!
Your holiday sounds lovely! I am in awe that you have local yarn shops like this overseas. This is not the norm for central America at all. I can't wait for you book. ♡
It was really lovely Emily so nice to be able to go away again. What are they like where you are? In the middle of department stores etc? 💕 eek thanks so much!!
Yes, small sections in large grocery stores, or large craft stores that carry a majority of acrylic yarns. We rarely have small artists or designers who are able to carry a brick and mortar storefront.
@@emilyfunk9634 Have you checked out Jimmy Beans, Knit Picks and yarn.com ( Webs), the first and last have brick and mortar stores Jimmy Beans is in Nevada and Webs is in Mass, yarn.com is Webs online site, we have several brick and mortar stores in my state, one being a mile from my front door, also there are indie dyers located on the web, Purple Kitty yarns comes to mind as does Echoview fiber mill.
@@emmaswartz6653 I have recently tapped into some small shops online, but I was more referring to local (I can actually go to) shops. The closest one to me is an hour away.
Congratulations Lindsey on your decision! I only discovered your channel a few weeks ago and love your podcast style. I'm so excited that I've joined at this point in your journey and look forward to your tutorials and more podcasts. I often buy crochet magazines to read the stories and look at the gorgeous makes but as I'm still very much learning the art of crochet, I struggle to read patterns and prefer the 'visualness?!' of a tutorial 😀 Good luck with everything. Helen, West Yorkshire x
