These lessons with the tour pros are amazing. It's so impressive to see those pros watch one or two swings and instantly remedy the situation. These chipping tips are going to help me a lot. Great stuff. Thank you for sharing.
I have the image of two club faces in relation to my grip, im always thinking and imagining my hand path, so when you are relaxed and understand your hand path more, your body will move naturally. In my mind the hands are what makes it all work, body will react to hand pressure and downward pressures, this in its self eradicates the grip high problem, so you can hit the ball hard but it comes out very very soft. Our hands we use in life everyday in various ways,if golfers looked how their body reacts to doing basic things in everyday life, they will understand more the body follows the hands. Imagining what you shot you what to play in golf is always based on how you want to use your hands...... i always advocate 9 iron green side bunkers and short game. now wedges allowed. Love the energy you all showed, yet another nice video.
One of the best short game tips I ever got … When chipping, ☝🏻“Focus on the FRONT of the ball” Have you ever heard that? I don’t know what it is, but IT WORKS! 😳 Try it Good stuff (as always) 👍🏻
Great stuff, so helpful!! Would love to get the bounce numbers you're using on the specific wedge and release.. Also what wedge and bounce for the bunker lesson?
@@meandmygolf. around 13:20 in the video Dan described green, amber and red lies and says you’ll get to the two worse lies later but it’s not covered in the video - just wondered what advice was given to address the non green lies in that position - change of release or set up etc?
Any chance you guys could do a video on the differences between short and long game principles? Feel like when I practice my short game I lose consistency in my long game.
While i don’t implement the 3 releases into my own game, I love watching him teach it to others! It’s a bit to complex in my opinion for the amount of time I get to get out and practice chipping!
I need to keep working on these tips to improve my short game, I find myself really tense when around the green chipping and end up thinning or chunking a lot of my chips
I started improving my short game by watching @Meandmygolf videos, and developed a pretty strong, reliable one. I discovered Dan through Rick Sheils' video with him and have since watched all the YTer's "Dan Grieve blah blah" videos. What I like in doing that, personalised tweaks notwithstanding, is the consistency in what I'm hearing, so the repetition slowly sinks in. I practice and use Dan's release 1, 2, 3 (and add 0 and 4) along with his tips on short game IQ, and my short game is now the strongest part of my game, and the one part where I have no anxiety/uncertainty.
Dan is top flight! Can you guys convince him to come to San Diego to do a class! I've been texting him over a year to come to San Diego to no avail. But I have no juice...
Almost all golfers, including seasoned coaches and even Tour Pros, are totally ignorant of the absolute opposite in the kinematic swing sequence between a finesse wedge shot and a normal iron/wood shot. This is why many struggle to sequence different and master both types of shot, falsely believing they are one and the same.
I know it's your channel, lads. But just listen to the man without giving your tuppence worth. And someone tell Piers to get dressed with the light on.😂
@@meandmygolf. Yes, totally. You guys seem open to ideas whereas someone like him seems to think there's only one way and it's his way, even though he's just your average Joe golf wise.
Make sure you check out Dan's channel. We did a video over on his which you will love!
I’ve seen so many Dan videos lately, and I WILL be watching all of them. He’s the 🐐.
Hope you enjoyed the video. Dan is awesome.

Great video, really nice how you give Dan the chance to improve you and dont get defensive, you guys are awesome.
Dan is great. Always happy to have others like him offer advice. So much great info for every golfer to take from
Best golf teacher I have ever seen!!!
Love watching Dan! He explains things so well and is super knowledgeable 🙌🙌
Love how Dan keeps it simple Mark. Not many do. Really like his coaching style. Hope all is good.
These series of videos are fantastic, especially if watched in conjunction with reading/studying Dan Grieve’s book, 3 Releases 👍🏻
Thanks Mark. Glad you enjoyed it.
Not only is Dan the man around the greens out of the 3 lads, he's also the only one who has trousers that fit him! 😌
Thanks!
Thanks Chenzhou! Hope you enjoyed the video.

Have you ever heard that?
I don’t know what it is, but IT WORKS! 😳
Try it
Good stuff (as always) 👍🏻
There are many and its it works, keep doing it. Nothing is wrong if it works, no matter how crazy it sounds.
What a fantastic video
Love watching Dan
I love my short game and spend hours practicing
And building sandcastles on the green
Glad you liked it Wayne. We love how Dan coaches.
Absolute love this !
3 legends all in one video
Dan is a genius, makes it so easy to transfer on the range or course.
Hope this helps Nessy!
Solid Gold Vid!

The bunker tips set up are GOLD lads
Great to hear Pete. Hope this helps.
Dans an absolute genius
I use a 52 or a 56 and it works well for me!
Great video! What of amber and red lies on release 2? Change to release 1?
Can you elaborate the question so I am clear please?

Glad you enjoyed the video. You definitely need time to invest in improving this. If you have time, it's not complicated.
The drill with pushing the top of the grip with your fingers is a fabulous feel.

if you apply what is in this video Alan. It will definitely help you.

Great to hear. It's not rocket science and it';s more simple than most are making it. Hope you enjoyed this one.
Dan has to be the best in the world
Love his coaching. Super simple
Great video
Thanks Cindy. Hope you are having a great weekend!
What causes a deep divot when playing a bunker shot and how to correct? Any tips please?
Ahh could have popped round fora proper cuppa of tea lol. I’m 5 mins for Woburn.
Great video as per

We will definitely ask him on this Nick
Hi Dan, would it be fair to say that there is an element of 'throw'(post impact) in the release for most short shots to maintain the bounce?
Do Dan a favour and correct the title. The 3 releases isn’t a ‘chipping method’ it covers all short game.
Semantics bud relax
Dan is such world class at what he does
Totally agree.
Pause at 22:47 .... where´s waldo? 😁😁😁
Hi, Andy. What pants/jogger are you wearing?
Adidas commuter I think the name is

Andy cuts very much across the ball on his chips which is noticeable compared to Dan
You don’t need to fixed though, you are ready too good 😅
I can always improve. Some great info Dan share here for everyone
Do you ever see the coach playing a ball?
Dan can walk his talk. Check out his channel where he does this too.
seems cutting very much across it - outside - in path

Those strides are horrendous Piers
Great lesson from fantastic guest. Please get Pierce some respectful pants.
😂😂
I like Dan but he needs to stop the uptalk. He's starting to make more statements sound like questions?
That doesn’t make any sense.
Handsy Dan desperate to get a cuddle as always...
😂
Difficult to apply his ideas. I don't agree with him at all
I think they are quite simple. That's also the beauty of golf. There are more ways than one to play this game .

Good for him though, 100 years of golf instruction and you can still bring a book out claiming new techniques, sell a ton of them and make a fortune.
Sounds more like your own ability to adapt and adjust is suspect.
The best defense for a small mind is to keep it closed.
Good Job!
