Hi Kevin, Congratulations again for your video, both here and in Blip TV. I wanted to suggest you, how about a/some video/s about the top 5 most popular figures and vehicles/playsets you remember from you childhood times (1982-1986)? Also with the top 5 least popular ones? It just came into my head so I didn't really think much about it and if it would be a great idea, but could be funny and interesting. I think the criteria would be different in some of the items from back then to now, like the Baroness, and Firefly, or in the other way around, Blowtorch, Mutt & Junkyard, Quick Kick or Sci-Fi, these last figures could have been very popular back in time due to his accessories, colors and specialties rather than from the character itself, what I believe is nowadays more appreciated.
I also thought about a funny video experiment to test something about the image G.I.Joe figures have. This is, a good experiment that would be to take an innocent and not knowing about G.I.Joe universe person. Like a child or woman. Then present to him/her a bunch of numerous G.I.Joe figures from both sides and ask him or her to chose who does he/she thinks are the 5 leaders of each side, G.I.Joe and Cobra. The result would be really very funny. Maybe the result would be seeing that child/person placing Airborne, Shipwreck and Tripwire as commanders of G.I.Joe, and seeing Hawk and Duke as plain privates under their orders. Or seeing how he/she thinks Cobra Commander and Destro are just robots, because of their silver faces and thinking Dr. Mindbender is the real commander because he has a cape and archetypal monocle. I would be really funny video. Maybe special for Christmas time!! I am sure you can develop even better these ideas with you great creativity or just get inspired by them for some original next Christmas videos ! The same goes with the one of the one of the top 5 popular/unpopular childhood toys!
The background is from ToyStages.com currently their website is down for maintenance, but they should be back up soon. The quality is great and as soon as I can order some more from them I'll do a review.
