Br Casey, I just wanted to thank you for helping me out with a question I asked you about being able to join the Catholic Church. I am now a member of the resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo Tx. I could not be happier. I am learning a lot. I have been praying the rosary and I can see my life improving every day. I am so great full for all your help. You are making a difference in people’s lives. God bless you in your travels. Thanks for everything. Bob
Great interview!! What a nice family...your parents did a great job! Never say never about becoming a nun!...Years ago I knew a woman in her early 30's who had a really great job making lots of money working in IT, she was what we might say living the life!...She was in no way religious I anyway. She took her sister's place on a trip to the Holy Land..which changed her life ..she started going to Church and after a couple of years wound up becoming a cloistered nun.. Now she is living the good life!!!!
You each definitely have your own personalities and temperaments, but that sibling bond is obvious. It's very nice that they sat down with you to show viewers that vocations come from ordinary families....and that, to families with members who are living their vocations to religious life and the priesthood, their loved one is known and treasured since "forever."
Thanks, Br. Casey! I only recently started watching your videos and I like them a lot! Keep it up and please pray for me, as I’m continuing my postulancy process with the Passionists! God bless you!
I just loved this! They were so funny, and kind. I can really feel the love between you all. Thanks for taking the time to do this video, much appreciated. Take care. Moira From England.
My dear Brother in Faith, lovely to meet your siblings. Thank you for sharing them with us. One of them said something very accurate.... "Do what you love to do" That summaries everything.... Enjoy your time with them and have a pj party .... Like in the good old days. Remember, "unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven". God bless you.
It's always fun to seat and have a laugh with our siblings, specially when you remember all the good things from your childhood. Are you the oldest? Your sisters are as pretty as your mom! May God bless their plans too. Enjoy your vacation soon to be Fr. Casey!
Great interviews Br. Casey! Your sisters are great. I have 3 younger sisters, and not sure I would be brave enough (or thick-skinned enough) to this myself. LOL
@@marycole8420 Beautiful sisters -full of laughter and fun to watch. Hope it wasn't too painful. Loved the video I have it on my playlist. (along with all the other great videos especially the one with his parents -seems like a great family.
One of your funnest videos to watch! Both your sisters are awesome and definitely different from each other. The both adore you but one tries to hide it - LOL! Thanks for sharing some of the dynamics of your sibling relationships!
Your sister might be a friar too .. as a couple of married deacons - hey! 'tradition' isn't about carrying ashes from the past, but, erm, seeing what we can create for the future needs of today's world (or something like that). Thank your sisters for sharing with us. ;o)
Really enjoy your videos! For some reason I am fascinated by the idea of vacation. How long are the vacation periods and how often do you get to unwind like this? It seems like it would be very necessary to continue fighting the good fight.
Fr Casey, I'm Febri, Carmelite friar from Indonesia Province. I would like to thank you for many material on your youtube chanel. Now I am working on my thesis on catechism preaching by priests in digital media. Your efforts are very helpful for many people to understand the richness of Christianity, which is very useful when dealing with situations during this pandemic. I was also able to learn about the priesthood and what its challenges are today. I know you from my lecturer who shows your channel especially about the life of priests. May your ministry bring more people to Christ. Greetings from Indonesia.(Honestly, this video makes me miss my little sister and brother. miss doing crazy things together😂)
Did you know that the Franciscans originally wore grey ? They were the greyfriars and came to Ireland just 26yrs after the death of Francis. If you haven't been to Padua or Assisi you should treat yourself to a trip . Don't forget the Franciscan shrine of Medj. where heaven has touched earth in our time. The archduchess Milona Von Hapsburg was so impressed that she lived there for a few yrs. with the visionaries. The war broke our in Bosnia on the tenth anniversary of the apparitions. @@BreakingInTheHabit Hi Brother (soon to be Father) Casey - Is it June 22nd your ordination date? We will be remembering you in our Anglican cathedral on that date, and you will be in our prayers here in Northern Ireland, rest assured. May you have countless blessing on your priestly ministry. Hope you are not nervous?
I wonder what @Mandy Cole husband thought about the suggestion that he could become a friar :) fun way to end the video. I wanted to become a Marist father -but my wife of 23 years would also have the same expression :) :)

But thank you as well your beautiful sisters they are a precious family that everybody loves.
I just watched this video (Thanksgiving Day 2022) . Your sister and her husband could become members of the Secular Franciscan Order, if, of course, they have a vocation to it.
To be a doktor and faint when you see blood whod be like being a brother/prest/nun/etc. and faint when someone ask you somefing abut Jesus, its not pleesing to God, do somfing else.
The hardest question for you to answer is whether this path you have chosen is a way to avoid doing the work of creating a conscious identity by buying into a "stock" identity, that is, an energy shortcut, or is a true calling. Right now, your clothes are too clean and your clothes too fine. Where you go from here will determine the answer.
I'm not sure that I understand your comment... but I would recommend that you pump the breaks on judging my life and vocation based on a few minutes of video (in which I curate what I show the world). It is very dangerous to go down that road.

I am confused. How could you pop a corn kernel on one's ear? How did it happen? I want to hear more. Hehe
I think that means she _shoved_ it into her ear. Because he said they _couldn't get it out_ and had to take her to the ER.

Sibling dynamics are always interesting to watch in action. :P
