Shifter is like blowing up a country to kill 1 guy. Its overkill. Most decks suffer under shifter, not just azamina. They just need to stop printing lazy archetypes that are insanely pushed for nothing more than profit.
@cirnospaghet technically yes, but it makes the game as a whole much worse to play. Its like using an elephant gun on an ant. (Rogue being ants and azamina being the elephant). Wish we had kess nuclear options.
Why do you consider graveyard heavy decks to be a problem? That is simply how some decks work. A deck can have 'x' ceiling and achieve it via 'y' method. The fact that the method involves a lot of graveyard effects has no bearing on whether or not the achieved ceiling is ok. Even if it were a problem, completely turning off the core component of a deck with shifter is not any better and reduces the outcome of the game to comparing hands. We have a large number of fairer anti-graveyard handtraps that involve decision making and more player interaction.
If you set the perma spell instead of OSS if you've already got access to Snake-Eyes. Activate it and then send it to fusion summon, you can set it in the end phase from GY.
Thanks for the breakdown! I can see that even with the snake eye limits the engine slots in this deck are getting real tight, especially the extra deck. You could always run the rabbit link 2 instead of Underworld Goddess to set the azure statue from deck, but that's +1 brick to the deck. Again, adds another layer. Kinda wild.
Also funny how with this new build you really don't need Snake-Eyes Diabellstar anymore. I know people are already cutting it from the current Snake Eye Fire King lists and such, but with Azamina you REALLY don't need it.
Good video but I think your hand list is suspicious. I think rabbit is much more frequently higher impact than moon. The combo you showed you can go hiita into rabbit and maintain S:P as a I:P summon. As played you never realistically summon Goddess as you get princess locked. Also droll is a staple 3 next format as it shuts down azamina hugely, and allows you to play through fuwaross partially. Great video though
The english text of the card that brings out the fusions reads "[...] 1 sinful spoils for every 4 levels (rounded down)". Level 6 rounded down would be 4.
Can you make another video showing how much worse the Azamina engine is in an actual fusion deck like Chimera? Just for me and my fellow copemera players lol😂
Ehhh it’s not the best, Rescue Ace Azamina Fiendsmith is actually nuts and people just don’t see it now the OCG see how crazy it is since snakes are dead there, Rescue took over
I watched the stream but couldn't comment. With Scarlet Sorrow maybe the forgotten Fiendsmith Paradise can see play. In your line where you mention shuffling back Closed Heaven you have the opportunity to use her quick effect in gy to revive Requiem and spin her back, Requiem summon it from deck, mill the trap, then the trap can mill Desirae to send a card to the GY. Meanwhile Engraver is chilling in the GY and will spin back Desirae so you can start with the full Fiendsmith engine on your turn. This is why I believe Fiendsmith Azamina has the potential to be a stand-alone super grindy deck filled with only handtraps and no supplementary engine like Snakes (especially if they get gutted next list similarly to Tear)
@@GG_YGO yes i know, that's why I mention her "quick effect" and Requiem being used again that is only OPT both its summon and its effect. Everything is a quick effect
Decks like these are why I'm a proponent of keeping shifter around. The amount of crap able to be used in the GY is just insane

@@servine1212 same, but Rogue has always caught these strays even before shifter. They're rogue for a reason

wish azamina had more synergy with white forest instead...
Does it not have any ?
@@Gane-oq3pk not really no
@@Gane-oq3pkjust bodies and deception coming back after being sent
It does with a bit of a Branded engine 👀
Im p sure Chimera could also do some really good work between azamina and white forest.
Man never fails to bring the important content
It’s crazy how it has so much synergy with diviner and voiceless voice
It’s like the banlist did exactly nothing to snake eyes at this point
it just earned konami more money
It did still hurt. No Apo on this end board is a massive hit. This end board gets smoked by DRNM and FD.
But it did, Rescue Ace is looking to just be a better engine over snakes
The fact that chimera can superpoly away any azamina board is crazy broken

you can also use Wanted in GY to put back OSS and then the 1 Deception resets itself as followup
Azamina looks interesting.
*sees snake eyes and fiendsmith in every deck build*
Nevermind I’m out.

I want to see how to mix this into shaddoll
the combo im doing with one card passes on
omni azamani
desirae
Rabbit + trap
lizard
princess in grave
cards in hand and follow up

Also no snake eye diabell 😮
I'm new to the archetype so I want to know why Sacred Azamina can summon a lv6 fusion when you only sent 1 sinful spoils?

Yes.

White Forest Azamina? 🤷🏻♂️
Ok, now how to stop/counter Azamina?
