I know this was a year ago and you probably won’t see this but I just wanted to say that I’ve made two of these and gave them as gifts. Just beautiful. I remember my grandpa singing the Old Rugged Cross. We have the perfect place in our house for this and you would see it everyday. Praise the Lord thanks for showing how to do.

Wow! What a difference 5 years makes. Dollar Tree items have changed..I'm sure you know that. The nautical rope..was 13' but now all I find is 8' the wire things are smaller and the wood items too. I doubt some diys that I see in older videos won't be able to work now. Anyway, I'll get back to watching. I love your work.

Just love the ideas you have using the tower tumbling blocks from the dollar tree! These videos are by far my favorites!❤️😍I have made this one putting my own little touch on this one. I lost a brother in April and I made this one in memory of him along with the cross ornament which will be hung on my Christmas tree this year in his memory too. Than you so much for sharing! I truly LOVED this idea as it truly represents the honest meaning of Christmas to me and my family. This idea really came at a time for me that allows me peace in my heart even as my heart hurts at times. I appreciate where get your ideas from, especially this one, your mom. My heart reaches out to yours as you remember your mom as you create your ideas such as this cross in remembrance to your mom. I appreciate your remembrance as my mom passed away last year, and the one year is nearing, November 3 and this creation that you shared will be wonderful for me and my daughter to do in my mom’s remembrance. Love the cross! It is the symbol of Christmas...we seem to be forgetting that! Will try it in whitewash w/ rope. I make an ornament every year too for my sisters. I call it my sister to sister gift or S 2 S & add the year. Such fun!

This is super cute! Using 50cent acrylic paint diluted with water is an even cheaper/easier stain. Plus you have WAY more color choices. ;)

I've got psoriasis on my hands they split and break open sometimes and arthritis to it is so hard sometimes for me to do any crafts it gets really aggravated trying to do anything so usually I just quit. then I go back and try do it.
