That's amazing, Kelly! 👏 👏👏I'll be making one of these for myself and maybe even a couple of birthday gifts this year. I've wanted a stove cover but just didn't feel like I wanted to pay for what everybody's asking. THANKS FOR FEATURING THIS VIDEO, SO I'D NOTICE IT. I'm thinking of you and your family and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. I know all too well how badly you're hurting. Upcoming Feb 25 will be 13 years since I lost my son Amos in a wreck. He was 27 and left two babies behind. It's been so hard. So Sweetie, take things slow and easy. Take all the time you need and know how many prayers are going up for you. You are so loved! ❤🙏🏼✌️
Thank you. All the tutorials I've seen have been for electric ranges with flat tops. Yours is exactly what I need for my gas range. Well done and affordable.
THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! KELLY BARLOW I fell in love the first time I seen one of these covers and now i can have one that I have made on my own, so very affordable for my budget. Thank You 😉
I can honestly say you knocked this project out of the park Kelly!!! This stove cover is gorgeous. ❤️ Your project tutorials are explained with such detail, without making people feel as if this would take so much time. Continue doing what you do girl - making great DIY videos!!!
SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL DIY & WOULD NEVER GUESS ITS MADE FROM DT MATERIAL'S SO I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS ESPECIALLY BEING ON A FIXED INCOME, DEF A WIN- WIN KELLY! I ALWAYS WANTED A COVER FOR MY STOVE SO I CANT WAIT TO TRY THIS ONE!
Kelly!! Kelly!! Kelly!! "YOU" just never cease to amaze me! I am moving soon to a NEW home & I always look to your videos for new ideas! I enjoy doing my DIY's around the house & you are a part of my inspiration so Thank You Kelly..Keep them coming & Have a Blessed & Wonderful day...
4th Kelly for sharing this beautiful DIY I watch a lot of your videos but rarely comment on the. But this range cover is abslutely stinking cute I do have to admit $20th is way better than $100, plus you made it, so you can put any saying you want in the center of it. I love that its not heavy, seems the older I get the more I can't lift heavy things. It doesn't pay to get old. Ty so much for sharing. Will Definately give this one a try, but, will wait for my daughter so she can do the drilling. 💘 💘 💘
Turned out so adorable! My 18 year old daughter knew I had been wanting to make one of these, so she went out to our scrap wood and actually made me one. She even used these two antique handles that I hadn’t ever figured out what to do with. I am so happy to have one made by my daughter.
Hey Kelly, I know you put a great deal of thought and work into this and I thank you for taking the time to film and edit it. It is one of your best!!!
We own a farm this is perfect for my house!! I am soo excited!! My 13 yr old son is goin to help me with this..normally I could do it on my own but I have a two-year-old daughter and a 12 week old son,so I'm pretty busy most of the day so my oldest my 13-year old is going to help me.. thank you so much for the inspiration it is absolutely gorgeous
Great imagination I think you did a beautiful job. I was looking at the likes and the dislikes and I couldn't believe there was so many thumbs down. Some people just don't know good crafting when they see it. You did an amazing job....
I usually do not leave comments but I couldn't help myself this time. I watch all your videos that I can cause you have an amazing imagination and creativity that most people just could only dream to have. I really like the styles and colors of your projects and I dont stress because you explain in great detail every step. This stove top cover is really nice and in no way would I think possible to make from items from the dollar tree, but again you showed amazing creativity and ingenuity and made the impossible become possible. I will be making me a stove top cover soon because of your video. Thank you for sharing with everyone these great diy's, I look forward to each and every one.
First let me say thank you so much for your kind kind words. There are so many times where I read comments that I’ve helped a subscriber in one way or another but it’s important for me to let you all know that there are times when I doubt what I’m doing or maybe from time to time let a not so nice comment get to me but then along comes a comment like yours and it reminds me why I’m doing what what I’m doing and it’s for the exact reason you stated because I want people to know that they can’t have nice things and with a little DIY and they can save a lot of money and anybody can DIY and it’s important for me that people know that and that I show people! So thank you again for this comment because I needed it today❣️❣️❣️

What a wonderful idea! Using "real wood" would make it very heavy, especially with a stove like yours. I love this Kelly, you did a fantastic job, and adding knobs that you can actually use makes it all the better. Thanks Kelly for another great Diy. ❤️
I have one in our house for my electric stove and in our camper for the gas stove that my husband made from ''real'' wood, it really isn't as heavy to pick up as you think.
@@NannaNeely All things Crafty made one with real wood and its not heavy at all. It looks like Kelly has a much larger stove top, like I do, with the oblong burner in the middle. I think it just depends on what kind of wood you use. Thank you for correcting me, I appreciate it.
I know!? I think going ahead and measuring and have the hardware store cut those lengths for you also. In fact the time spent would be better spent in materials. My question would be what happens when you sit something on the top
I had one of those moments when you were doing the hazelnut paint that I thought it was ruined. I thought that sometimes in the middle of a Bob Ross painting too...but no, gorgeous! Way to go:) This is one of your best DIYs ever.

I'm not sure why I've never considered making myself 1 of these. I LOVE this idea. I'm thinking I used the excuse that I rent & even though it's NOT a super expensive project I know the possibility that if I move it may not fit my next stove. It's a piece that I can take with me no matter where I live. Thank you for the inspiration.

Hey Kelly! How has the piece held up after a year? I'd love to do this for my nana but wondering how it would hold up long term. Thank you! 😊
My thoughts too. It’s great for a stove cover but is the thin wood strong enough for setting pots or serving bowls or other things on?
