Hi Floyd, First thank you for replying to my previous comments, much appreciated. If you had silver-soldered the flange on the rough side down then you would only have needed to face the bottom of the dome. Sivert torch with a 2941 or 2942 burner you will find silver soldering a hell of a lot easier. Please don't think I am being critical, just advising, been doing this sort of thing for over 50 years. Yes, I could have soldered it the other way round but I was hoping that I wouldn't have to face it off at all.
