I so appreciate the decision made by Garen & Ellie about their kids. I know people can be enthusiastic & probably mean well, but when it comes to your kids Mom & Dad know best! I was a young Mom (22, 38 yrs ago) When my first child was a baby people would often try to touch her. Two times people gave me parenting advice at the wort times ever. I remember an old woman & a very young man, who didn't have any kid's. Sometimes you just need to get your groceries at the store even with a little fussy one. When someone gives you advice to take your somewhat fussy (not crying) child out of the store... all you want is, to not be interrupted while making your way up to pay. I miss seeing the family, but I definitely understand! Please give them my best

The girls are so little if a stranger came up and acted like they knew them by name they could be tricked into being kidnapped. There are all kind of crazys out there now.

Awww, that's such a wholesome reason for backing off the camera for those guys, young family needs a little privacy as well, shouldn't need justifying. I often wonder how all of the family copes with lack of privacy, new marriages and relationships, 'outsiders' coming in and joining (must face a lot of judgement from viewers, AND a kind of pressure to 'bond' with someone who feels comfortable on camera - as if it isn't hard enough already) - I can see that you all love what you do, but I can appreciate a lot of the challenges that come with that.
