- Today is my last day in Bangladesh, and that is how I spend my day with my friend Saad. I got some random items from the bazaar, and met incredibly nice and smiling people in the chaos of Dhaka. It is time to say good bye, until next time, and thank you for all the memories and lovely learning journey & experiences. Davud

where you get down by Rickshaw, ride side is the best college in Bangladesh, where I was a student in 1974 and at that time no street shops or anything there except New Market(only rich and middle class and university students went there. There was a big cinema hall and several restaurants and a sweet shop(yesterday you ate sweets that shop was in front of the college-Maronchad Sweet shop). 22 years ago I was there and can't be recognized how badly affected that beautiful Green area beside the college. For shopping, he should take you to Jamuna Mall or the Mall you visited. He took you to the shitty places. that guy has no knowledge about Dhaka.

Bangladesh is a beautiful green country, it is a shame the people litter so much and do not look after their environment, I see travel blogs and I see other Asian countries but I am ashamed of the litter and pollution in the streets in my country, We need to teach our children from primary school upwards about keeping environment clean. All this is due to ignorance. Even the countryside and villages are being polluted with plastic.
