***** the short answer is that you won't. I'm waiting for my second set of these to arrive although I opted for the camouflage version that comes with the gel cups and a useless LED light.
i shoot ak47s and mosin nagants would this be fine for this noise level, and would i have to supplement using foam plugs as well or not thanks for any help sir.
If you're indoors - double up. No matter what, if you're indoors and you have the option to - double up on your hearing protection. Hearing is priceless, conserve your hearing. Although it should be fine for indoors, if people around you are shooting and their guns have big brakes, you might suffer.
I recall using a far earlier version of these way back when.. while on the range with two squads - large platoon sized groups firing 5.56 - 7.62 Nato close.. I did prefer doubling up if anything bigger was in the offing thou..
@@JohannesTurner Actually, you're wrong. I just got my hands on a unit, and if used with a stereo cable it will provide stereo. The included cable is in fact a mono-to-stereo so a mono radio will be heard in both ears.
They are well-made. One you have these in your hand and put them on it's hard to settle for anything less.
do you think these would be comfortable under a helmet? sweatband removed of course.
Jack Robertson there’s a neckband version specifically for wear under helmets.
Where can I find these for a good price? Thanks for the close up video.

Mosin nagant would require additional hearing protection.
AK is fine.
Does the audio input jack allow for stereo audio?
No.
