As a teenager, I always thought Dalton was too brooding and thought Connery and Moore were the best Bonds. Now I’m in my mid thirties and think he’s the most underrated Bond in the series.

A great shame we didn't get another Dalton film in 91 due to all the legal problems with the studio, he was really getting good by the time of Licence To Kill

Timothy Dalton is such a gentleman and his bond portrayal is criminally underrated. Truly ahead of his time, the two films he done have stood the test of time better than a majority of Sean Connery, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan’s films and Daniel Craig has clearly honoured Dalton by bringing back that reality and Darkside to bond.

What the heck! Tim looks younger than Brosnan, and he’s five or six years older than Pierce. If Dalton had wanted, he could’ve easily played Bond up until 2002!
