I just like the little detail in the cutscenes is that whenever Satan gets punched by Gabrielle's left hook he flies farther away because of the Black Knights Gauntlet
@@FromFrosty I had a few small complaints (not being able to move the camera mostly but they fixed that in Los 2. Not a deal breaker anyway) Easily a 9/10.
I love that between this game and the sequel, Satan ends up looking significantly uglier when he comes back. The implication is that Gabrial beat Satan so hard that, centuries later, his face is still messed up from it.
Lucius Malfoy really moved up from playing Harry Potter to the Prince of darkness Satan. Yes for anyone that doesn't know the voice of Satan is Jason Isaacs AKA Lucius Malfoy from Harry and the chamber of secrets

This game handles religion very well and in a very believable manner.... well, as believable as a game starring a guy that unironically tried to resurrect his wife against the advice of literally everyone and was still shocked when it failed at the end... can be believable. Shrug.
For real, I don't think I've ever heard His message being described so well. It's unfortunate that the Netflix Castlevania only reflects the extremist view of Christianity.
I’m playing it for the first time now at age 42 and am so regretting that I passed on it because it “didn’t feel like a Castlevania game” to me when I first played it when it came out. It was just “too different” that I never gave it a chance. So glad that I did. It is a masterpiece. Although I’m admittedly stuck on this final fight with Satan now and still unsure of what to do to defeat him. My favorite fight was by far the vampire queen. She looked absolutely amazing especially in her demon bat form. This storyline had movie potential IMO. Somehow it’s like a Gothic Silent Hill 2 story to me.
Right before this was the Dracolich fight, another awesome battle. My personal favorite Vania game, and ive been with this series since the VHS days. And that music. I get chills from it. Like Gullermio Del Toro directed a Castlevania game. Unbelievable game.

2 years late, but the beatdown of 8:33 to 9:30 solidified my reasons why Gabriel's my favorite Belmont
